What you should do is look at the ETC curve from the last months. It keeps going up and down and obviously the airdrop is making no influence on the price.

So if you don't need that money, why would you sell it and lose money? Just wait till it goes up again, at least to the price you bought them.

Because most of the people arent going to risk their invesment to get the forked coin,most of them are going to take profits instead of getting that forked coin,because after the snapshots are done normally the coins are being dumped by most of the people,securing profits before the fork would be better than getting trapped to the coin for months.

Because most of the big players only wants that forked coin,that is why we will see a fast dumping after the snapshot was finished,normally this what happens when those people had got what they want,they will dump the coin that was requried for the fork and in this case it was ETC and this is why i really dont want to particiapte with these forking snapshot because you could lose a lot .

That is normally what happens when the snapshot of the fork or airdrop is done,normally those people or bigplayers are dumping the coin because not all the people wants to hold a certain coin especially when the coin is not for the long holding,dumping it would be the best thing to do,so in your case you shouldnt join any of these instead take profits before the snapshot.

Because the fork has ended and the people who participate the snapshot are dumping those coins,that is just normal because not all of the people will HOLD ETC for long hold,that is why i dont really do airdrops and forking snapshot because you could lose half of your investment dumping those coins before the snapshot would be better because you can have your profits in its peak.

I think that this is an false dump. It is also possible that ETC lose price -because many exchanges do not support the CLO airdrop, including Bittrex. If you bought at a good price, then wait. and you will see ETC by $100.

Hey, mate, too many forks last time,so people are just tired and don't believe in that. and don't miss that fact the whole market is now in depression, so not best time to risk and buy any assets in the hope that they will be pumped )

wait for good news, if there any exchange will support this hard fork ETC price will rised again

I was thinking the same. I am a noob started trading in Desember 2017. I have made many mistakes to be honest. But guess thats what makes us stronger. Learning from our own mistakes ,) Hope we se a up trend in the market soon after 8-10 weeks with blood.

currently I decided, if until tomorrow ETC price going down (under 28 $) I will move it from exchange to ETC's private wallet to get airdrop callisto, at least can reduce the loss of ETC purchase if you buy above 30 $

I decided same. And I think that ETC will be great but later. And I don't sell with loss because ETC is such coin that have solid base, team and FA

the possibility of people do not believe with the fork because I think ETC is a fork coin from ETH which is very doubtful if there is fork, but I hear the fork is there and in suport at yobit.

I think we wont see any big rise of price in next few hours, poeple are already little tired from all these "forks", also the value of callisto is not expected to be much so the motivation for stay during the snapshot or quick buy before, is not big at all. Despite, I sell like 80% of my ETC, two days ago... 20% I will leave to get some callisto, but my expectations aren´t high at all

The hard fork was a joke, everybody thought that the airdrop is going to be amazing but it failed so hard, I believe that the only guys who made money from this airdrop were those who shorted ETC right after the airdrop, easy money could have been made.
The expectations were pretty big considering that it was the first time that ETC was making an airdrop, it should be a lesson, airdrops are just hype and dump things, make sure that you are not entering in the over-hype position, and if you do, make sure that your position is a short position.

Maybe people bought the news, expectations and they sell the reality? I think etc is the worst coins among the good coins. It will rise though without any real reason.

but i'm reading now your posts and I really now have some doubts should I keep and receive a fork or to sell it and forget it. I do not want to be in situation holders of ZCL now..

And I don't think that Charts analysis is anywhere related to the hard fork and the price of ETC doesn't move according to the hard fork they move according to the coins potential and future development and their expected growth for the future purposes. It will be better if you choose some other coin than ETC as I don't see any strong reason here to buy it right now in the current market conditions.

If the currency is strong, then Hardfork will increase its price because of the high demand for it before new fork happens "get free coins"
There seems to be a fear of ETC so no one wants to venture and buy it to get a free new fork "Which will often be worse than ETC".
If you don’t have large amounts, keep your balance and think in another currency.

People do not believe in forks, they do not have the flexibility and development in the future. This is just a tool for the outflow of investors, so we see its fall, and it's not worth it to count on the rise.
