So, consider it music porn and stamp a 18+ label. See how the artists like it...

I think there was an explicit language warning back when people used to buy physical media, but nowdays you are only one click away from the actual porn that minors aren't supposed to see but do.

So there is no easy answer to this.

BTW poor countries like mine may not have population issues, but they do have minors pregnancy issues. 12yo getting pregnant which not always ends well...

I don't think people are all that offended by WAP. The lyrics are kind of retarded and funny so basically on par with what's expected with Cardi B. She also did a 1 on 1 interview with Joe Biden to talk about election issues which was...weird.

+1 to that.

It's a weird song and I don't really understand people liking Cardi B that much as a singer / performer, but that's on other people I guess. Not a big fan of todays music.

But yeah, also WEIRD for Biden to be doing an interview with someone who has casually confirmed that she has drugged and raped men -- and everyone just let her keep doing what she's doing. I guess there's no cancel culture for her. Interesting double standard to see!

Girls in it weren’t even hot.. Kinda yuck to me actually..
IMO they are quite ugly frankly.

There are popular songs about sex, but this song is especially explicit. There are limits as to what people are willing to accept, and I think this song exceeds those limits.

Chick friend showed me the music video the other day..
Girls in it weren’t even hot.. Kinda yuck to me actually..

Seemed ironic to me that, my impression of the song, was that all she had to trade, mostly for a guys money, was her supposedly super wet pussy.. Like that is all she is good for, is her pussy..

Kinda the opposite of feminism/respect for women for something other than their pussy..

Whatever.. I didn’t like it that much.. Video wasn’t even hot imo..

Didn’t seem catchy either... Forced virality?

Degenerate shit kids shouldn’t be into anyway..

So many songs about drugs and murder but the most controversial song is one about consensual sex.  I get that people are offended by explicit sexual language and I get that its usually because they have been conditioned to correlate explicit sexual language with evil but why?

I also get that you don't want young children to hear it but there are so many videos of young adults playing the song for their parents and the parents are in agony and can't make it through 30 seconds of the song because it bothers them so much.

This seems counterintuitive because sex is something every parent can relate to.   The most reasonable explanation I could think of is that they aren't used to modern society where we acknowledge females can enjoy sex but that falls apart when you realize these people find male sexual lyrics and porn (male dominant) just as offensive.  Could it be because this type of language turns them on and they don't want that to happen in public?

Furthermore, I completely understand why sex was taboo in late 20th century China as they had instituted a one child policy and were really trying to control population but why is this the case in places that don't have population issues?
