Could it be that VR will also change the future of travel? That'd be great, given the fact that airplane seats have been shrinking for the longest and the government isn't doing anything about it. It feels like at some point, people will be like: " Screw it, I'll just visit that place virtually".

Because everyone is already living in virtual realities on their phones and buying everything online, but there are still things that are lacking in this sort of shopping experience. People still like to see how something might look on them before they buy it and mainstream AR would bring even the people that still like to buy things in store to buy more things online.

I would say that it is just not AR. VR as well. With these technologies and also with the development of AI, there will be many possibilities that can happen in the future and that's why researches and development of these technologies are taking place now. Give it another decade, these realities could be part of our daily lives.

Because AR tech has lots of potential. AR technology integrates digital information with the physical environment in real time. It allows us to interact with a product on a new level, thus enhancing their engagement. We can visualize ads in 3D, rather than 2D, which is a significant benefit in itself. Did you try Pokémon Go? That's AR.

Companies like Amazon, Adobe and Apple have been integrating augmented reality in their products and now Samsung is dedicating an entire conference to discuss it so I am curious about the future of that technology. Why is it now so mainstream now?
