So, what can we do about this? As a regular user who enjoys participating in campaigns, I can't help but noticed this.
Avoid posting on mega thread I guess? Most the lock thread usually concluded with answers on the first page alone. I think mods think that there’s no point on opening the thread if the answer is just recycle.
Some mega threads are still super useful even now. Like @coin-investor mentioned, threads about sports and sports betting are prime examples. Sure, they're mega threads..., some have been active for over a year - but that doesn't automatically make them spam. While occasional spam messages might slip in, these threads offer ongoing value.
It's great that the new mods are being strict. That's exactly what we want: more valuable content and less spam in the forum!
After taking in all your great suggestions, I now understand why it's important to close certain threads and what we can do to minimize spam posts. As forum members, let's be responsible with our contributions. Let's avoid engaging with low-content threads, and even for interesting topics, once we've received the valuable answers, let's close them to keep the forum clean.
With that said, I'm locking this thread since I believe it has served its purpose. Thank you, everyone!
