lol and this is the same community that relishes in scolding journalists for getting facts wrong. i swear at least half the people here are unable to perform a quick google search to verify information relating to their own investments!

Okay, look into the future, either five minutes or five years.  Bitcoin is widely accepted, meaning the intelligence of the average bitcoin user is more or less equal to the intelligence of the average human (use your own language to express what I'm trying to express).

The fact (opinion?) that the intelligence of this community is falling below what would be expected (desired?) from an elite community is an inevitable symptom of widespread adoption of bitcoin, yes?

Or do you want only the smartest x% to adopt bitcoin?

What's the odds that the price is falling because gox is dumping coins? Some of it has to be due to idiots not understanding what's going on, sure, but this much?

Overstock has 0 risk by dealing with CoinBase...

As long as CoinBase is still operating merchant accounts, Bitcoin will be accepted.

Price has been dropping.  Is it gox, overstock not accepting btc anymore, russia/china banning
