They were essentially related to posts at the time, as merits were not round, and were pretty interesting it seems (I find the "time of day" stat stood-out on it’s own, as a means to try to derive the area of origin of a given profiles).
This would have been a very good tool for Alt account busters.

Like user static page, a lot of other profile options are not in use anymore like msn and icq, my question why they are still shown in the profile page? I guess, technically, it's not that complex to remove them.
I think Theymos is reluctant to make any further changes in the current forum software especially if it's not something of high priority. Many people have made lots of suggestions but nothing has been done.

This is what he replied when the same issue was discussed back then in Meta:
What similar things do people use now?

Those fields are actually built a bit deeply into SMF for some reason, so it's not completely trivial to change, but it can be done. Low on my to-do list, though, as hugeblack mentioned.

Personally, I didn't find those data really useful back then (just my opinion), besides it seemed to be causing high server load => an unnecessary attack vector.
Lately, forum members became interested in merit related stats more than the data they could see on that page.

However, detailed statistics for each user can be found on Bitcointalk Public Information Project
BPIP provides a lot of useful data indead but you can't find how many posts you made in each board or on which hour of the day you were the most active.

I remember when user stats were enabled. Users can check their activities in each board and i also remember the website (not available anymore) using the statics page to determine a price for the profile.

This is what the user stats link used to let us see:

Apparently, later it was decided not to return this option.

I guess we won't see this until the new software rolls out.

This SMF version is still vulnerable.

The reason is that they were disabled after the DDoS attack in 2017. Check this thread  User stats are disabled?

I might've figured it out. A bunch of things are currently disabled; I'll work on safely enabling them in the coming days.

Apparently, later it was decided not to return this option.

I clicked on the show "general statistics for this member" page on a user's profile and it didn't work. It gave me a message that said "User stats are disabled". Why is this the case?
