Anyone investing in altcoin for the reason of diversifying is doing it all wrong as this is the worst market to diversify in as the market is highly volatile and totally depends on each other and Bitcoin the most to survive. Reason you should Invest in altcoin is because of the technology it is working on. We have quite a number of project working on very promising technology that could be life changing technology in the future and getting to be among the first believers could be of great advantage.

Just imagine the early adopters of good project like uni swap and how profitable they are today provided they held their coins from the very beginning. Altcoins could be very promising if you picked the right project to invest in.

because altcoin can increase very high and give me a profit of at least 10x from my capital, therefore I prefer to invest in altcoin, but for the long term, then I will definitely choose to invest in Bitcoin, because investing in Bitcoin for the long term is definitely safer than investing in altcoin, therefore I invest in altcoin for the short term and Bitcoin for the long term.

I invest some percentage of my portfolio in altcoin that want to make a difference or already have! I cannot personally refer to myself as an altcoin investor, for quite a lot of reasons I choose almost solely Bitcoin, but imo, there are numerous reasons why people go for altcoins just other than mere preference or choice, the thing is ROI with Bitcoin is more often than not a long term thing, and many of this investors do not really have that much patience, thus they choose to invest in altcoins, many of which are pump and dump coins that can pump quite high at some period and give investors who are lucky to sell at that point quite a lot of profit. Another reason why people invest in altcoins is just to diversify, they do not think it wise to channel all of their funds to just Bitcoin, thus they leave out a particular amount for altcoin investments.

This is a tough decision on which altcoin to invest. This will need more research before investing in an altcoin and gain profit. It would be good to receive advice from those who have invested already share their experience. I haven't invested on altcoins yet but I did try investing in bitcoin and eth.

Simply to say that Altcoin give good Returns no matter how much you invest.Altcoin investing gives us good opportunity to get more profit. I think both coin are same but i choose altcoin right now for investment. Altcoin price so cheap so you can make invest with low amount to get good profit in future.

I think many people prefer to invest in altcoins because they want bigger profits and so do I, that is the reason I currently prefer to invest in altcoins because a very significant percentage of price movement makes it possible to get bigger profits than investing in bitcoin .

Altcoins investment for me is a way of diversification and that is very good. Bitcoin investment is a huge type investment so if we do that, we can also throw in some money in altcoins and when bitcoin is rising our investment too rise. Another point is that investing in altcoins can also help incase bitcoin drops, sometimes altcoins start to bull. It is basically for diversifying for future profit.

Investing in altcoins is one of the choices that must be made to gradually accumulate capital in order to be able to invest in Bitcoin. In fact, I don't make investments into altcoins just because I missed an opportunity about Bitcoin. I can invest into Bitcoin or an altcoin any time considering the future. Because I like to HODL my coins for a long time period. I don't make many short-term investments. And I have a few altcoins that I believe in their future now. If I don't like a project, then I invest nothing into it. This is why I prefer and don't prefer altcoins.

I invested both BTC and altcoins, but I usually put a huge amount in Bitcoin. Maybe some just have a different market spread like investing more on altcoins but for sure they choose those projects that are worth enough. It wasn't mean that they miss the chance on Bitcoin but as we all know that some altcoins have a huge spike than Bitcoin which could give more profit in a shorter time.

But if we think for a long-term investment(as I did), we took BTC as the top priority.

The big investors want to make a big profit from altcoins besides from bitcoin, so they believe that investing in the right altcoin can make more profit. Many people invest in altcoin because the price is not too high compared to invest in bitcoin so they can buy many amounts of potential altcoins and hold them and sell them when the price rise higher. That makes them a big profit in bitcoin and if they can sell the bitcoin from the altcoin profit, they will make another big profit.

but not many people believe in a new project in development which of course takes a long time. when the market is in bad shape, of course, choosing a top market asset will be more profitable than investing in a new altcoin that is not necessarily a project that will survive in 1-2 years in the future.

I am not a heavy altcoin investor but I do have lots of different ones. It's not that I missed the boat, it's just too expensive for me on this stage.
Before ($300 per BTC) I can't also afford it due to financial needs for my newly made family and others. If it's still $300 now then I will surely purchase it but because it's not, I want to just risk it with altcoins and try to make profits. Those profits will then be converted for Bitcoin as I want to keep more as the future of it still shines bright.
I think we do have different reason why we didn't ride the boat and most of it will be in financial side.

Yeah. That's also a good point, I missed the Bitcoin train. Now If I want to make an investment in Bitcoin I need a good amount of money. So why did I choose Altcoin? We all know, the altcoin market is very volatile and it can give 100% pump within sort time also can be 0 any time. It's very risky but the reward is also good. Most of the time I like to buy legit coins. For trading most of the time I like to take a position in altcoins. It gives me a good risk-reward. Also for the long-term investment, I am still buying altcoin. Right now holding Matic, Cardano, Grt, NWC, TRON, and a few Ethereum. If Bitcoin hit $100k, that altcoin will give me 5x or more than I strongly believe.

I think there is higher probability of huge profit by investing in altcoins if we could able to pick a suitable altcoin on right time for example lets take SOL those long term holders who bought SOL couple of years ago they all have earned huge profit with it although choosing a suitable altcoin for investment requires deep research which is absolutely necessary to do.

I'm into altcoins because Bitcoin is not enough and cryptomarket offers a lot of opportunities so better grab is as much as you can or else you wont be more productive and profitable.

Bitcoin is not the only cryptocurrency, yes it started this revolution but he can't do everything this is why Bitcoin still need the altcoins to offer services that where Bitcoin is limited. We have to diversify, never put your money in one investment only that's too risky.

Why maximum people want to invest on altcoin, why not Bitcoin. we know that Bitcoin is popular and main currency but maximum investor and traders like altcoin. I want to share my opinion, that nowadays Bitcoin price is too high and new and old trader or investor can't make good profit from bitcoin, need more fund for bitcoin investment or trading. But for altcoin everybody can generate good profit becouse altcoin's price is very low. So everybody can make profit, so everybody invest on Altcoin.

If you check the table of top-holders of Bitcoin you will see that there are only 3 addresses that have more than 100,000 coins. These people might have bought it just in the beginning.
On the other hand, the biggest number of addresses is in span from 0 to 0.001 BTC. There are small investors and newbies that have bought bitcoin that has already risen in price.

Because the trust of being an earlier investor will give you a huge return even though the risk is very big and some people are trust in some altcoin they believe that coin will had greater value in the future. the point is because of trust of the altcoins they choose. maybe someone invests because they imagine 0.001 to be 100 in the future i dont blame them but I'm sure people like that will fall for scam coin.

But most likely, those who invest more in altcoins are the ones that are hoping that they'll get ROI and more profit but it doesn't mean that they don't have bitcoin and missed investing in it during the lows. Those who invest (but maybe more precisely trade) in Altcoins (include me) may think that one way to increase the amount of BTC they have is to look for profits on altcoins and use those profits to buy BTC and keep it for the long term. Those who can code and build, work for these and get tokens in return. As part of marketing, these get spread out to the public who form the USDC/ ETH/ BTC pairs by buying them up in open market or ICOs. Most people, who aren't naive, tend to cash out and retrieve their principal soon after listing. In case the rest of the shit goes parabolic, you rejoice and join Twitter shilling about how your coin is the next big thing.

If it catches on, you earn more money. The method is quite simple and just too much money floating around if you can learn about crypto. I won't say its all that easy but if you know the right people and can code and put up a website, the chances of you making a lot of money without worrying about delivery are pretty high. Those who "buy into" Alt-coins hoping it'll be a worthy investment are generally being fooled by someone.

Safe to assume that they are or they are that of a kind of investors that want to diversify their money. No one can tell to on who are these investors are because some new investors right now are more like institutions and just new too because it's getting more traction and it's too huge to ignore that's why they are hopping to. For example, VISA got into NFTs.

I am invested in altcoin because altcoin can give me profit and sometimes, the profit can be bigger than the profit in bitcoin, especially if bitcoin is not moving good.
But well, it is hard to find which altcoin that can increase and that is why we always need to analyze before deciding which altcoin we should buy.
But bitcoin will still be my main investment and I always want to have more and more bitcoin in many ways.
Some investors gain heavily from both bitcoin and altcoin and still profit from the altcoin, but they do not tell which altcoin gives them the profit.

Altcoins are many times more likely to generate profits than Bitcoin because their capitalization is smaller.
Although the risk as well as the large return, but I am willing to trade for big profits. Investing in altcoins doesn't necessarily involve risks because I know how to choose which projects to invest in.

Because they think altcoins will help them richer. They are fearful of high price of Bitcoin and want to find alternatives. They are again fearful with high price of top altcoins and try to find other alternatives with shit altcoins.

When they find shit altcoins, they feel satisfied because they see future of 100x. I don't know how they end with their choices but I think most of them end with bad results for their portfolios.

I think thats a good thinking. Some are scared thats all, and some are fierceful that they knew somehow that we gonna go in here sooner or later. We dont know what might get us in the future but of course this will be a good chance for those who missed out investing on altcooins.

I invested on altcoins cause I see a great potential with it especially on gaming and nft trend.
