"Why Aren't We Raving About DeuceCoin"

Probably because people in this board generally don't play / care about poker, and can't see the problem the coin is trying to solve. It's easy to move money around and from site to site if you live in a country which hasn't "banned" online poker yet, but if you don't, then it's another story. Depositing and getting the money to an online casino can just be too hard for your average home game / b&m donk so they just don't bother. Maybe this coin shouldn't be marketed here at all, but in poker magazines etc - use part of the premine to buy ads in a mag next to Helmuth and Negreanu instead. Smiley

Top 3 Deuce coin pro/con list

Pro's
  • Deuce coin is backed by a real btc poker site! (Satoshi Poker) Which has awesome software
  • Is offering poker skins to anyone wanting to run one sort of like merge poker network which is massively popular among real money players
  • Decent block reward system and realistic coin cap

Con's
  • Largeish premine of 3% (will be reduced to 1.5%) I'm guessing this is to support current/future freeroll's?
  • Wallet graphic needs an upgrade to something more web 2.0
  • Not a lot of active traffic on satoshi poker. Although this will likely change with the implementation of Deuce Coin into satoshi poker client

Pro's far outweigh the con's especially if BitcoinFlush pull's through with the premine distribution effectively reducing to 1.5 or less.

Opinions?
When someone takes a shit, it is often referred to as "taking a deuce." A turd by any other name is still a turd. You officially made a shitcoin.
