Like the price from 4000+ goes to 3800? Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.

Lol Grin bitcoin isn't dying just because small dips happens, it is normal thing in crypto world because people always buy and sell bitcoin in order to get profits. If you buy bitcoin at higher price and it fall down tomorrow, doesn't mean it won't recover and dying. Even $3500 still consider as high price in my opinion, because bitcoin price was $980 in the beginning of this year.

LOL. Why is everyone saying that bitcoin will die for every small dips that we have experience? Yes, It's normal to see some dips, and this is called minor correction, if the OP is not aware, which means that we are going to see the price fluctuates and will go down from time to time.

But if you look at the current price, it has already risen from the dead and chasing 4500$ a pop so it resurrected from the dead and recover and getting stronger once again. You don't need to be nervous by all of this price movement. You just need to stay calm and observe how it goes.
Correct All cryto currencies and altcoins were experience of dip, but it not means that it is going to die. Because if you review the movement of bitcoin into the graph you can see that it was on increasing side. They can fall down a little bit but not so deep, maybe bitcoin need to rest but afterwards it was rapidly raising up again.

Saying that bitcoin is dead because it dropped $500 in the last week is stupid... by the way, it is already at $4,4k, so the $500 are in the past now..
If you are holding crypto, then you must know that this is how the market works, pumps and dumps, that is it, everytime, with every altcoin.
yeah, right. bitcoin does not disappear because of the decrease in price. This has already happened, even commonplace in the world of crypto. so many people buy and sell bitcoin, so it's normal if the price goes down, and that does not mean bitcoin is not used.

I think it is not enough reason to say that bitcoin is dying. because in reality bitcoin value was stable now to $4000. it was fluctuating raising up and down base on dollar value.

I agree with you that the price of crypto does have this characteristic. Rising and falling prices are a natural thing. Because basically the currency in the world must experience something like this. Let alone bitcoin that often experience price fluctuations quickly, it could be last week we see bitcoin prices down 500USD, but let's see that there is an increase of 1000USD in just a few time. it is an example of how cryptocurrencies always been one thing that is used by traders to take profits.

As at the time you make this thread I think bitcoin even went down as low as $3,700 but it has bance back and as at the time of making this post bitcoin price is above $4,350 and I think with some days to come we may see bitcoin above $4500. Bitcoin is not dieing but full of life and energy. As far as the energy is there bitcoin will remain lively and the bubble will continue. remember $4000 is still like a foundation floor and very soon maybe next year bitcoin will be in the moon.
To tell the truth, I'm convinced today that Bitcoin in general is not going to die and the whole topic just does not make sense. It seems that many users who write negative messages are most likely only aimed at lowering the price of Bitcoin and at the same time using this situation to buy Bitcoin more at low prices.

It's normal to drop price by 10-20% bitcoin isn't dying it will go up very soon don't worry.

In recent times the price of btc has gained only and not dropped that much just once it went from 4300 to 4k mark but within couple of days it was also up and today its at 4330+ back. So overall if you see bitcoin never died and nor will be dying in near future. So infact its the time to keep buying and sell once the price rise to 5k mark.

Overall bitcoin always keep increase over year so when bitcoin reach lowest value, keep hold them rather sold in cheap since I've experience it many time that bitcoin always interest more people from year to year
I do not think that, because Bitcoin still is an asset and for investment. You need have to remember if Bitcoin for investment, it need fluctuates everyday and the volatility on market not only increase forever.

There will still be a stable thing about bitcoin ones in a while but the fluctuation really is something that will always occur and I really think big investors really like this about bitcoin because of it's volatility they can then sell or buy and earn bitcoin's value every time there would be a movement on the price. you just need to keep up in these kind of adjustment with bitcoin.

It not dying, we just observe small and weak correction waves which are totally normal for bitcoin price decrease. When you spread this kind of thing, people get stressed out. Bitcoin is still stable and lots of new investors are coming in.

Bitcoin is Not at all dying. As like a roller coaster ,the price may increase once and decrease. But it's stable now. The price value of bitcoin equalant to dollar is  4344$.Which is almost 4350$.So only 156$ is required to reach the next peak value of 4500$.In 2014 ,the price is around 1000$.Now it's 4344$.Just compare this two and decide ,bitcoin is growing or dying.

It cant stressed out people if they do heard such thing since this kind of thing is really just a normal event or always been part on bitcoins price because it do really decrease for sometime and its normal and nothing to be shocked off and saying directly bitcoin is dying. If you do know the term "Volatile" then you wont really say such thing for sure.

Such differences actually show that bitcoin is alive and not a dying currency... you do not need to get alarmed as these are normal in the world of cryptocurrency

Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.
We are already above the $3800 just need to hang in there as prices are guaranteed to rise as long as we have demand and we might see a new all time high as soon as we start to see the benefits of segwit which will attract more people to use bitcoins.

Like the price from 4000+ goes to 3800? Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.
For sure price would definitely rise again maybe soon, maybe not. I myself is unsure whether it will take a long time for btc price to pump or not but for sure it will happen again in the next coming months. It might happen again at the end of the year or even before that. All one can do now is either to hold or wait for a good opportunity to rebuy bitcoin again to get more profit.

Ya rise and fall of price is quite common for bitcoin. Not only bitcoin it's very common for all the products. Due to source the price may vary.Due to the market factors the price will vary.Like that their is some deviation in the price of bitcoin. But is not a permanent. It's very rare cases.

In my opinion that is how crypto works and I guess let's add up the stock market it is pretty unpredictable and you will never guess if there will be a bad thing that will happen in that kind of products just like in the oil market if the oil industry could have less oil or no more oil rig the price would rise significantly, well now I am comparing it with cryptos, because there are chances that there might bad thing happening with a certain coin, even if we surely have an idea on how it might move, there will always be a significant something and just like what you said i is a rare case but it can still happen.

It is normal to see the drop after the high rising, don't be afraid and too paranoid with this situation, eventually bitcoin will bounce up and the price will keep on rising and bitcoin is not dying in fact bitcoin is still fabulous and still on top,  if you see btc slip down to the second or third maektcap that is the moment you can called bitcoin is dying

Before creating this thread and asking this question, haven't you looked at the price history for bitcoin?

If not than you should check, I am quite sure you will find your answer there easily.

Yes bitcoin price had and will recover from every dump/correction it might have in future too.

I'm sure they haven't checked the price history of bitcoin. Whenever a correction happens in bitcoin price, they start to make people very panic by saying bitcoin will die and it will be worthless. It never dies because of the fudders.

This is an old story they are always saying that bitcoin will be die or totally dead but until now bitcoin still alive and active.. they are just thinking negative about bitcoin and those people who read it are panic to sell even bitcoin are strong and many supporters of bitcoin as you can seen here almost all members here are supporting bitcoin and only newbie are telling that bitcoin will be die..
And i think this is another way of whales to buy a cheap bitcoin so if you sell you will be regret soon.. and they are just let them buy a cheap bitcoin because they believe that bitcoin can be increase more soon that is why they want bitcoin to be cheap because they will buy huge amount of bitcoin and there is a possibility that there is a large price increase..

For Bitcoin no more dying stats in future , as its reaching the limits and supply and demand shows that there is no reason it will go crash ever. Hold tight what you have .
Bitcoin is volatile price it may increase and may drop the value. It may little dump but for sure we can expect the rising value. I agree it will not crash as this has been used by many now.

Volatility. Bitcoin price going down does not means that its dying. Compare current value with last months value. A sudden rise took place, so a correction might take place. Its quite normal and happens a lot. You will see more rollercoastering of the price soon  Smiley

When you do make use on the word "dying" then you are pertaining on the amounts which would go down to $1.. I would consider as a dying zone on bitcoin but if the price have decreased only a small percentage then there nothing to be surprised of since bitcoin do really move on those ways and this is one of the feature of bitcoin on which its price is volatile and its not really dying at all.It will recover soon.

I just read articles from a website explaining how Bitcoin BTC will go down in value to zero (dieing, as you say) because miners and users will start switching to Bitcoin Cash BCH. I am not in the mining business nor do I really understand how blockchains work exactly but the article seems convincing enough for me. Have a read at this article and let me know if the author's argument convinces you or if you think there's faults in his assumptions.

Like the price from 4000+ goes to 3800? Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.
Its not dying (not dieing), its possible that what we are experiencing right now is just market corrections, remember a few days ago BTC price soared to $4,400. Whenever there is a surge of price it is followed by corrections which is sometimes up to 10% drop or even higher. Changes that we have now is just 13% drop so nothing to worry.

I think only the people new to Bitcoin would be really alarmed of such a dip in Bitcoin price. This is not an unprecedented thing as it happened in the past many times already. There would always be corrections when Bitcoin can hit a record high and it is happening right now. And guess what? After this correction, Bitcoin would slowly get back to where it left...this is Bitcoin in action. In my estimate, this dip or correction is important so that Bitcoin can never be a victim of a bubble burst.

Most people on this board are living in a delusion. They are told Bitcoin Cash is taking over but they are not listening, they don't want to listen. And when it becomes obvious that Bitcoin is dead and won't rise back from the dead they will think how could this happen? How didn't we see it coming? Well you were told why it was coming but you didn't listen. The fundamentals of the original Bitcoin are in Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin with segwit is something else. For many reasons bigger blocks are better than segwit, better at solving the problems Bitcoin was invented to solve, which is why Bitcoin grew in the first place.
Perhaps it is like that. Eventually bitcoin will rise because of tremendous demands from investors and other members. It's not about dying or what but this is a sign that many people will hold bitcoins for some reasons one of which is the availability of resources like tokens and stakes from different linkages such as twitter, facebook, youtube and etc. This won't be easy for people to say it is dying. Definitely,it will last and grow even more. I guess in the future this will be a good outcome for bitcoin because many are satisfied with its effect for many of us and will surely come back for more.

You know the old adage "Buy the rumour, sell the news"?

Well after the hardfork of August 1st, the next thing was segwit getting locked in. Bitcoin soared on the rumour it was happening, and it will now get locked in today/tommorow, and the speculators are cashing out.

Same thing happened with litecoin: the announced that they were doing segwit, and as the miners started accepting it, the price soared. But after it got locked in, people sold.

Bitcoin iz ded? Is it for sure this time?

Bitcoin is not dying but there are very motivated attackers. Bitcoin will find a way to secure itself and hopefully we'll return to 1cpu-1vote again and everybody will have a chance to mine bitcoin.

Let Bcc (bitcoin china, bcash, bich coin) have all the asic miners, they were a bad idea since the beginning.

This is insane actually, Dude try to do a research or do some back trend reading so that you could see it for yourself. Bitcoin? Dying? I think your are just over reacting on a simple or slight drop or something. Fluctuations is already a normal thing in this industry and the market. It would surely rise up, and it's like you are panicking. Well don't be, Familiarize yourself in that kind of stuffs since it will normally occur from time to time.

When bitcoin price crashed from $31 to $2 six year ago, a lot of people thought it is probably dead. I've been one of them, but fortunately I did not sell (I mined, not bought the coins, and then the sum was tiny anyway). Then I've seen the price climb to $100 in 2013, and now it is $3800. Does not look like dying to me...

We often see that the bitcoin drops and rises erratically, this is a common occurrence and does not mean that bitcoin will die. If you are not familiar with this then you will think that bitcoin will die.

Dying? What are you talking about? I just can't understand why are people making such dramatic posts every time when the price goes down a few hundred dollars. This is normal volatlity process and unless you joined bitcoin yesterday you should have known that. Just don't panic without reason, bitcoin is not dying.

This is an artificial panic and a feature of the development of bitcoin. Experienced investors already know that now there is no reason for panic, just hold the coins and wait for the price increase.

Another bitcoin is dead, nope, it is still dying (or dieing if you prefer what op used) thread. Bitcoin did not die when it crashed in 2013 and you think it is already dying because it is set back by 400$. Nope, bitcoin is strong and still getting stronger.

$3800? It's definitely dead. Dead like in 0 dollars.

LOL... these scaremongers are very funny. They were hiding in some hole when the exchange rates increased from $1,800 per coin to $4,500 per coin. Now these guys have come out from hiding, after hearing about the 10% drop.

Yea but the confirmations of the transactions goes to low, like waiting hour and more.
This blockchain is being artificially suppressed.  Just use the blockchain that Satoshi proposed and it works fine.  Use Bitcoin Cash instead when you need fast transactions and very low fees.  If you need a highly complex settlement system that is very expensive, you have to use Bitcoin Core.  You must select the correct chain for your needs.

Nobody wants shit altcoins. Oh wait, you are right. You can use Zimbabwe dollars instead of US dollars. You must select the correct fiat for your needs.

This should be moved to the Speculation board.

Here we go again with the endless "bitcoin is dying" posts when the price takes a beating of more than 5%. Seriously, price alone doesn't dictate bitcoin's current state knowing that there are still services around it in the mean time and large investors are, day by day, backing up the coin and trying to build their services associating it. The future is bright; it's just that people are booking profits and this is more than likely to test higher highs in the coming weeks.

Yea but the confirmations of the transactions goes to low, like waiting hour and more.

Almost 20% of bitcoin's miners are currently directed to BCH because of the low difficulty and miners are just taking advantage of the low numbers. An hour or more for confirmation is normal if you pay normal fees. Again, 10 minutes is never a guarantee in finding a block and it greatly varies.

Like the price from 4000+ goes to 3800? Will it rise up again or that wont happen for now.

bitcoin is died a lot of time, and every time "the life" is linked to a soft line ... but normally the price have strong fluctuation, so there is any crash or death behind the corner. It's just a normal "movement" for traders, closing their position to move parts of funds in fiat cash or other investment in crypto.

Maybe it is because of the reason that there'll be another hardfork in November. Just like what happened before tha hardfork in the month of August wherein its value decreased, and after the fork it again increased. So , no need to worry. It will again rise, it is normal since Bitcoin is volatile. And dumps oftenly happens especially if there'll be fork. Just hold on into your Bitcoin.

Again, that is normal with Bitcoin, as you know, we have to wait for a few confirmations before the transaction is complete. Sometimes 1 confirmation takes 10-15 minutes, sometimes even longer. Long wait for transaction to complete doesn't mean Bitcoin is dying there might be a lot of transactions right now.

You are overdoing man by saying bitcoin is dying. Such a decline is nothing new once this happens in bitcoin. Just calm down I'm sure bitcoin will go back up to $ 4000 even more.

Technically it went down to 3600 and already rose to 3820 already. Dying ? an 8 % drop doesn't mean bitcoin is dying. You can't get impatient over such a small drop. It is expected that bitcoin will reach close to 3400 in the next few days.
