Even though there is a backlog of almost 22,000 unconfirmed transactions (as of this post), they are not the same 22,000 transactions. Transactions are being confirmed rapidly. The thing that makes it look bad is that there are many, many more transactions being initiated between people.

BLOCKCHAIN at https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions, is flipping through new transactions at a rate that is almost too fast to watch. Yet the unconfirmeds are remaining nearly the same - slowly changing.

If BCC had/has a good development team, they might produce a BCC Core wallet that is as good as the standard, current version Bitcoin-Qt (or have they?), but with their "improvements." If they could do this, we just might be ready for a time when transaction quantities go out of sight... worldwide.
