Crypto investors are seeing red this week. Bitcoin plunged to two-month lows on Thursday, dipping below $9,000 for the first time since November. At the time of writing, Bitcoin had bounced back up to the $9,200 level, down from weekly highs just above $12,000. This week has seen coins across the board in the red — a sign that investors are jumping ship to fiat currencies this time instead of swapping into altcoins as we’ve seen in the recent past.

I think due to bitcoin price's unstable this is normal. Every seconds the price changes. Price bearish or bullish.  Bitcoin on future will become high or low. A lower price there's only a less new investors who searching to buy and trade the Cryptocurrency.

I think it is the nature of bitcoin currency or other crypto currency but we need to see bitcoin despite the price dropped dramatically but still the highest price

In my own understanding why bitcoin price is getting low it's because of the resistance hampering it's growth. Aside from that, FUD and negative news also is a contributing factor the leads to the decline in price. People are holding still with their coins and less people were investing on bitcoins however, it could be best in buying during the bear market as the price is much lesser.

bitcoin price getting low price in the market cap it because of their high volatile movement do not worry and do not panic up and  down movement of the price of bitcoin are part as a currency because sometimes people need to sell their bitcoin investment because of the needs that's the one I reason I observe bitcoin getting low their price.

The lower bitcoin price is due to a wave of regulatory uncertainty over weeks and a ban on advertising by technology companies and the decline is also due to investors monitoring the warnings from some regulators and increasing crackdowns on the virtual currency market in China.
I think OP is not asking for the whole period of the previous few months but he is asking for the few days when the price of bitcoin started to increase and then it stopped and again started to decline. I think that drop is because of some misunderstanding and now again the investors started to invest in bitcoin and now again the price started to increase and will reach to a high price.

We will see similar situations with bitcoin more than once. It will surprise us both because of growth and fall. This is a normal process. And experienced people simply silently on them earn.

I will give a simple answer, bitcoin prices to be low because many investors who sell bitcoin, like the law of supply and demand, if the supply more then the price will be low and otherwise.
then why many investors are selling bitcoin, my answer is that currently bitcoin is being hit with bad news that makes investor interest is greatly reduced.

The theme is old and I don't understand why in the top. Perhaps the moderators will soon pay attention to it and remove. But I will add that the market is breathing. There will always be growth and decline. This process is endless. Why at all create such identical themes?

There is a chance that during the Consensus conference the bull rally will begin

Tom Lee of Fundstrat and some other analysts believe that the Consensus is the annual blockbuster summit in New York, where leading experts in the industry can lead to a sharp increase in the crypto-currency market. In 2017, during this summit and immediately after it, the cost of Bitcoin increased significantly. The conference will be held from May 14 to May 16, 2018.

Not the fact that history will repeat this year, but, in general, the event is large-scale and positive.
Arranged a set of orders to buy BTC from current prices and below.

You need to remember once. The market is volatile! There is no growth without falling and Vice versa. It is not necessary to be so surprised every time why everything falls or grows. It is at least illogical.

The frequent rise and fall in Bitcoin price is in accordance with the normal crypto trend. This shouldn't cause any fear or panic or anything of that sort. I still have the belief that we will get a record price for Bitcoin this year. Bull market is coming soon.

Don’t give up hope. Buddy.
The bitcoin is currently adjusted.
Because it has been going up fast for weeks, it is a necessary process.
So if you hold onto the coin without panic, it will recover again.

We should never expect a one way movement when it comes to the Price movement in bitcoin because since bitcoin is decentralized and volatility is also at play it will solely depends of the demands and supply of bitcoin to determine the Price movement of bitcoin, but at that the demands and supply of bitcoin is what control the Price and not any other hidden forces as always spread by fud who are always against bitcoin.

the price of bitcoin is getting low it's even good! he then climbs to the top of the falls is not clear. but Santa is even good that he fell heavily because wakes a time when he really rise to the top and wakes to stand three times more than it was! so I will tell you so it does not mean anything if bitcoin there sank or as that very much fell! peak growth I think dynamics of already very soon.

Few countries and banks stopped to buy or sell bitcoin from past months , so there was fear in the people that bitcoin price will go down and they sold it. Now things are getting stable and steadily increasing the bitcoin price from 6000$  to 9000$+ and hope it will reach 15000$+ as well because few countries which stopped is not started thinking to make it legally , hopefully we may expect soon and bitcoin price will up again in near future.

I would not call it panic. It is just the game of investment. There are no other criteria for bitcoin price fluctuations (like wars, economy situations, etc.), but the big investors need some "price waves" in order to have more profit and I do believe they can start these waves if they want.

I'm generally looking at marketcap.
https://coinmarketcap.com/
You can see your current volumes here. Prices are falling instantly when large amounts of money are withdrawn. When someone who earns huge amounts of money pays the account, it affects other prices as well.
The stock market is always a risky system. I need to be careful.

I can not say that the bitcoin rate is getting low. It's just a fever as for me. The bitcoin course could be adversely affected by the investigation of the 13 largest crypto-banks, including Bitfinex, Bitstamp, Bittrex and Binance. But despite this, I believe that bitcoin has already passed the local minimum, and further growth awaits the crypto currency - unless large sales of crypto currency will be repeated and there will be no market manipulation.

I have not heard any updates for bitcoins recently I wonder if its still going to be a good investment or not.
For sure it is still the best investment and it will remain the same forever. Price is getting down because of panic selling but as you know no situation remain forever in bitcoin, if price will get down then after some time it will again rise infect now it is moving upward for high investment in market, so have patience and keep yourself updated about price rise and fall,. Now price is increasing best chance to buy at very decent and affording price.

In my opinion bitcoin is getting low because the investor  is going low. Or maybe bitcoin have own rating and no one knows will be the price of bitcoin.
As of now bitcoin price are getting stable, it was not increasing so much and it was not also decreasing. I was enjoying seeing that price of bitcoin are in neutral, I believe that it was continues and hoping that increasing literally on the following months. Bitcoin fall down price was due to large impact of withdrawals of amount of many capitalist.

Someone just fixes profits, and multiplies their bitcoins, and most likely these people have a lot of money)
This is a standard situation, the market can not always grow and always fall, yet we have recently suffered a deep correction that it would take longer to get back after it.

There is one thing I would like you to know is that none of the assets including cryptocurrencies, shares, gold etc.. can go in one direction for a long period of time. It travels like a wave. Bitcoin has been in a decline for a couple of months and we saw that it recovered a little in price. It jumped to $9700 and right now its at $9200. I don't think it is going down. May be you consider the little decline of $500-$1000 as a  downside but it is not what you think. We will see another spike very soon when it crosses $10k and then again we might see a little decline. This is how it goes.

the decline in bitcoin prices as the latter investors hesitate bitcoin because of the many FUDs in circulation, from countries that do not support bitcoins, and the most impact is google will block bitcoin advertisements. so that's where investors hesitate and withdraw their money. look at the market is experiencing a very significant decline in February last. but now the market is starting to go up again. because the end of this end there is no FUD in circulation. hopefully the future of Bitcoin is supported by all countries. and it will automatically make the bitcoin price soar

Bitcoin prices could drop drastically by up to 50 percent. And here are some things that can make the value of Bitcoin down dramatically;

1. Bitcoin Mining Closure.
When a Bitcoin mine goes out of business, they usually tend to immediately remove all the Bitcoins they have stored. this could trigger a chain effect until the Bitcoin price drops.
2. Prohibition of Using Bitcoin Announced By A Stronger State of Economy.
Among the factors driving Bitcoin prices up, there is an element of recognition from a stronger economy. therefore, the reverse is true; Bitcoin's price drops if a stronger economy oppose and prohibit its use.
3. Closing of Bitcoin Exchange.
The law of supply shall also apply to the price of Bitcoin. the higher the supply of something, the lower is the price, if other conditions in general nothing has changed.
4. Technically, Bitcoin Already Buy (Overbought).
overbought means in other words, the current Bitcoin price is actually too high compared to the price that can be accepted by its users .

The reason why the price of bitcoin is getting low is because certain problems arises regarding bitcoin such as anomalies, threats, and downtrends. There are also people responsible for the sudden fall, such as manipulations and back-dooring. Although, there are times that the reason is just mainly the world issues about its centralization and such.

The situation has changed and Bitcoin price is now moving towards green and now recovering everyday. That's a good sign after a huge crush.

Bitcoin price is getting low because of such a very small problem that crypto currency right now encountered. Bitcoin price is getting low because there is a traitor that really wants bitcoin to down. But right now, bitcoin already recovered and it is a good sign after a huge drop or crush.

Sometimes in my thinking Bitcoin price getting low because of the negative fud news that has been exposed here even in the social media. So, once the community heard or read it mos of them will get easily panic which will lead them to sell their bitcoin. Or it could be it controlled by the whale investors perhaps.

I do not understand why such questions arise! Everything is simple enough: After each growth there is a correction and now just such a moment, but fortunately now it comes to an end! Secondly, large market players deliberately underestimate the price, so that it is more profitable to buy crypto currency and earn more!

I think bitcoin prices have decreased due to the circulation of bad issues about the world of cryptocurrency so that causes traders to panic and sell their assets when prices are in bad periods. The decision is what makes the market worse and to go up takes a relatively long time.
it could be that such things affect the bitcoin price. should be in this situation, to be patient and wait for the price to go up so as not to lose in selling. if there is no urgent need to sell the coin you have. better save and buy when the price is cheap.

There are several factors that cause the drop in bitcoin prices, among them:
China closed access to virtual currency trading sites abroad. In addition, China also raised bank numbers prohibited from using credit cards to buy virtual currency.
A report on the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigating the Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency exchanges.
There are some countries that prohibit bitcoin or criptocurancy in use as a transaction tool.

I believe that it is part of the correction process and we are in the last phase of it. I am expecting the price to recover from this month and we will see sustainable growth in the user base and price. The price rally that we have experienced in the last quarter of the last year was not organic and thus price collapsed soon after the peak point. Then it created a chaotic environment which resulted in a panic selling wave.

There are several reasons why bitcoin sometimes getting low and sometimes getting high. The stability of the bitcoin is from those who uses it and those are the investors. Because of the rumors, comment and negative feedback thats why the investors tend to fallback instead of taking the risk in bitcoin but still many people wants to invest in bitcoin even they've heard a lot of bad things and thats the reason why bitcoin is getting high. So if the investors will not fallback in investing then the bitcoin value will be stable and will never get low.

For me this is not new, bitcoin is always getting low but sometimes it bounces back and continue to increase. We do not need to be worried we just need to have more patience of waiting the right time on when it will be back our capital if we feel that we are bankrupt in investing on bitcoin.

Because of panic selling many bitcoin holder can sell their stock because of negative thinking, like bitcoin continuously goes down until it will become zero then followed by one by one and then it will counted a volume of user selling their stock they do not think the future of their bitcoin that supposedly it will grow up after several years.

Bitcoin is electronic money, its value is always changing and depends on the needs of the user. The value of bitcoin is low because investors sell the bitcoin in bulk and do not invest in it anymore. Moreover, a series of negative information about bitcoin appears.

To be honest I don't know how or why bitcoin price is getting low. But everytime that bitcoin price is decrease I see that as an opportunity for those people who don't have yet bitcoin, because if their money is enough to that price they can now buy bitcoin. After that, the only thing they need to do is just wait until the price of bitcoin increase , so that their money will increase too.

Its a fluctuating market. If any news goes bad for crypto then people starts selling their coins and the price started getting low but at the end of the day the moral of the story is, whatever lowest it will go, it will again on peak prices after 1-2 months. So no need to worry.

The bitcoin price is getting low because a lot of people sold their bitcoin. Maybe because of news circulating around about bitcoin that it might be banned in other countries. A lot of people got scared which prompted them to sell but if you sell your bitcoin you might be on losing end. Don't sell your bitcoin even if you hear any bad news. No one knew if that stories are true. Let's observe first, understand what is going on.

When the market is volatile then we may see red in several weeks in a month! It's normal. The crypto market is growing gradually, not sudden pumping. That is the great things are happening right now. Bitcoin 19K USD Wasn't a stable price. It was a sudden pump and then sudden dump! But at this moment, Crypto market is increasing gradually. And for stability, it needs red mark too. So, I think bitcoin low price is a normal matter and I hope it will sky high in 2018!

And now bitcoin has started to rise again after a long fall in low prices, and I believe bitcoin will return beyond last year.

Let's be hopeful that it would actually regain its highest peak, we've been wanting to see it growing specially we have invested good amount when the price is still high. I believe the red days is over yet its not yet late to buy more volume of bitcoin. Last years track was almost likely the same as todays track. So buy now before its too late, we can still afford to buy now dont wait until tommorow.
yes, a red day is over, but I think, bitcoin condition is still not safe, and still can fall again. worries still stay in my heart because the correction is not over.

but by looking at the green market a little cure my worries. I also do not just invest in bitcoin but I invest in some altcoins that have good growth. and I hope the bullish market will bring it up and high.

I have the same sentiment as you. This to me seems like a bull trap, over the next few months I do think we will sink lower. I want the opposite to happen, like everyone else, but it is far to soon to see a reversal and continuation of the bull run.  Eventually, a bull market will return, and Bitcoin will come back higher than ever, media interest in Bitcoin seems to wax and wane every few years.

The recent decline in Bitcoin prices is due to the Chinese government issuing a ban on Initial Coin Offering in the country. The government argues that new forms of fundraising such as the ICO are illegal under national law. In Korea, the Government Financial Services Commission has banned all forms of ICO "applicable to any virtual currency "as well as margin trading of digital money. The FSC also plans to implement other measures that may adversely affect the operation of cryptocurrency companies, including on-site inspections that will commence at the end of September, while checking currency accounts of users starting from December.

Bitcoin dropping big in prices is ordinary in getting ordinary in the last couple of years after its heavy rally moving upward. It seems more people are just taking profits. But long term bitcoin is still moving upward and you don't have to necessarily join the waves and stressed yourself.

Lack of information, fear of the unknown and the banning of major companies such as google, facebook and twitter and many countries. We experienced the lowest price of bitcoin for the last few weeks but we also witnessed an increase this recent week. However I think that bitcoin price will still rise.

Pure manipulations of course ,the big players doesnt want to put their money into cryptocurrency when the market is failing thats why we should be buying more bitcoins.Doing so,will be get more profits when the market has recovered giving those people who bought from the bottom because IMO that is the time would be the most profitable trades comapre to the normal market condition.

Its simple bitcoin price is getting low because recently there are some country who banned bitcoin in their territory so the bitcoin user lessen in that way and the demand of bitcoin drop that is why the bitcoin price got low in that reason, but dont worried when bitcoin price is getting low because after a few days I`m sure the price of bitcoin will back in its normal situation.

Over the past monthes a lot of people sold their cryptos and after long correction the market capitaliztion returned part of positions and stays in flet.  But anyway bitcoin can't rise because of public attention focused on the alts and they are rising now.

Because many investors sell their coins, so the supply of coins more than demand. that's the main cause of bitcoin prices going down. then what's the cause, the investors are busy selling their coins Huh causing investors to sell their coins, as they panic, after bad news about Bitcoin. should be a true bitcoin player, we should not be affected by the obscure news about bitcoin, and continue to hold our coins until the coin has a high price.

Right now Bitcoin needs some good news and stop lagging behind other in terms of development. In high hopes, it needs a 25% green consecutively of at least 7% up per day. Its a 50% hit for altcoins but it happen suddenly and is not the end of the world! We seen 50% green before.

The only reason for the price fall is PANIC,PANIC around the investors which are caused by the recent rumors, negativities and regulations against the bitcoin. Please stop saying India banned bitcoins because they didn't then we can see the price growth a little bit.People need to hold their bitcoins if you want the price to recover if you continue to convet them into fiat then the price will fall more and more.So people just don't care about anything just hold it.

Just stay frosty and hodl.  It seems we got hit with a lot of FUD from mass media.
First you have South Korea ending virtual bank accounts and the USDT thing resurfaced.
And don't forget about BitConnect exit scam.  All this creates FUD and cause panic sells.

Yeah there is a lot of fear in the market at the moment. The important thing to remember is that the fundamentals of all of the technology has not changed, this is just FUD that is being pushed out intentionally to drive down the price
