SMF doesn't distinguish between deleting topics with no replies, or deleting topics with replies. It's either can delete own topics, or can't.

If it has no replies, report it, mods can deal with it. Though if it's a marketplace thread, it will likely be moved to archival instead. You can't move your own topics to archival though, side effect of topic creation being disallowed there.

You can find the "lock thread" button left corner and lock the thread yourself. You can also click the "report to mod" button and ask them to delete the thread for you.
