Bad idea,All members of this community are like strange friends.they are already helping eachother, sharing their knowledge with other members, warn the other members about the scam ICO/coins, etc. Other then financial benefits, they are also helping each other for their personal problems in off topic section .
In this way we already have good relationship between members. So there is no need to narrow down this circle by creating this type feature.

I've  seen a lot of forum site and most of them have an "add friend" feature. my question is why they haven't add that feature here?
that would have been a good thing especially when you want to know most of the trusted user here, you just go to 1 trusted user profile and search his/her friend list to see more of them and you can trade with them with ease because you know they are friend of a trusted user. but of course a trusted user should only add a trusted one.

that's only my opinion, so what do you think guys?

That feature is mostly present at those forums who have various discussions and topics. It includes mostly all topics under the sun e.g entertainment, sports, lifestyle, cooking, recreational activities, gambling, money making, mobile and pc zone etc.

Bitcointalk forum is different from those as this was purely crypto discussions (well at least at 95% lol) so it 's not a good idea for me to add that feature here and we doesn't really need that.

For the purpose of knowing if a user is trusted, that's why trust page is there for you to check some feedback.

No, man, this is not Facebook. I think there are enough tools already to follow the people whose work is interesting for you. For instance, I always spend some time in taking a look at the recent posts of the people I admire the most, for sure I will find something useful or insightful in there.
Following and being followed is a concept to another kind of interaction, a one I completely despise, as Instagram, Facebook and such.
In here, the point is the discussion, not the personal "achievements" of the members being counted by such a pathetic stuff as "likes" or "followers".

I really don't want bitcointalk to be moving towards being another social media site.  Whenever I even hear the words "social media" I roll my eyes, because I view Facebook, Twitter, and the rest of those things as toxic to true social interactions.  They're the real reason why kids don't go out and ride their bikes anymore--it's not fear of child abduction, it's because they're inside glued to their laptop of smartphone.

The other reason why I don't support this suggestion is that the community here is already so fractured and clique-ish that we don't need another way to widen the divide between people.  I know who I'm ideologically aligned with and don't need a public list that might draw trolls to.  So while I do appreciate the suggestion of ways to improve the forum, I wouldn't support this at all.

its not important if the kids ride the bicycle they go working, or go into the gym thats enough, seriously i think you are misguided and bigotted

You can already see who users trust by looking at their trust lists:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;full

Make sure you click  hierarchical and set the depth to four for maximum users. I don't really care either way for a friends list, but It'll just turn into what Facebook is with random people adding you just because.

I don't want any "friends" here - there aren't that many users i'd trust anyway so my list would be fairly empty. Online acquaintances are more what people are from here, you can't really have personal relationships with people you only know over the internet unless there's a really high amount of trust you have with them (in which case, you would probably have met in real life by now wouldn't you)?

Also, what @the pharmacist said, however, we are a social media site (technically). And, we would start to see loads of thread popping up "x removed me from his buddy list" and then negative trust from removing trusted people in order to keep their same number of "friends".

I don't see any advantage. If you are interacting with someone privately, then he will be in your list of PMs
