If you guys are real bulls then why mock anyone who buys at $600? Hypocrisy?

Im not mocking him for sure, he doesnt need bitcoin to succeed to make a success of himself.  Most of us would probably have more a life changing moment when bitcoin goes to 10k then he would.

Well see who is laughing when bitcoin goes upto $2000 or something Tongue
I think it is normal for people to mock him now especially with how bitcoin has gone since he bought.

It is what all people do.

Laugh at people when they are mistaken or do wrong stuff, and hate and make everything to destroy those who are right and growing

Only trolls and immature kids mock Tim Draper. Lots of those around here so just ignore them would be my advice. Not everyone around here is a bull by the way, most are bullish long term but there are also many short or mid term traders here who switch sides quite regularly. Anyway it has little to do with being bull or bear, some people are just childish and like to make fun of people who bought higher than the current price. These people just aren't very bright and are very spiteful and myopic.

VCs are pretty much the opposite of day traders and don't sit around trying to get little 20 or 30% gains or whatever. They wait.

I agree, Patience is a trader's virtue

Why mock a guy like him who has a broader long vision than the rest? Maybe those guys are just jealous of he has right now and he is willing to loose on what he have invested?

Guys like Draper make risky bets for a living. He didn't invest because he thought it was a sure thing. Most of his investments may fail, but will be offset by outsized gains if one hits.

People who bought some btc at $6.50 on the way down from $32 to $2.50 were criticized here as well. History has and will decide the winners and losers.

The guy is a prime example of "Investing what you can afford to lose completely".

He just... made a lot of a fuss out of buying bitcoin. And he bought for a high price and close to a local top, so he doesn't look  too smart given the big bear market that followed.
Anyhow, I don't think bulls mock them too much, I personally would love it if he bought more Grin

Anyone mocking him is crazy. He said he bought them with a long term mindset. I think he said he's looking at a 3 year  horizon if I remember correctly. Obviously you don't get to his level if you constantly worry about day to day price movement. He's in it for the long haul, and I think he's right that btc is here to stay. As for price increase, I don't know how long it will take to go back up. Probably years

Because he gave people a hint about the real agenda of those auction buys to dump on market later. Actually he has exposed an obvious thing that btc market is being ruled by a large group of "wanna be financial elite". http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-elite-meet-secret-island-bilderberg-style-retreat/

I thought it was mainly beartards who mock Draper, often calling him a bagholder or some other goofy bear term that indicates they haven't got a clue what he's doing and instead see him as some kind of childish daytrader.

One bear even went so far as to suggest he might try to dollar average his price down as if he were some investor rube.

The guy's a showman, not a rube.

There is no reason to mock this man, since we cant know what he did with the coins afterwards, or will do with them later on.
He made his trade on an educated guess, and a plan, which is not disclosed to public, and thats why some people mock him, clearly because they dont understand what he is doing/trying to do.

cheers

Some people mock that guy who sold his house for bitcoins. There will always be people who laugh at you for making a mistake, and probably hate you if you get it right. I wouldn't say it's bulls or bears mocking him, just people.
