for me, the reason for being greedy in everything is discontentment of what they have or what they achieve, and sometimes people tend to be more greedy if they were being ignored and unacknowledged by other's or by specific person they want to impress. The feeling of being neglected is really hurtful, that's why others become more and more greedy, they will not stop, unless their status or position is secured and satisfied of what they have.
A greedy person is someone whose primary goal in life is to get more and more of something they wants and their focus is on getting it. People feel so greedy because they are not contented with the life that they have especially the material things they have in comparison with what others have.
my opinion about greed is because it is the nature of which is owned by every human being, who is never satisfied with what it already owned until the man died

Nowadays, Parents should not be talking about money especially in front of their children. As I have noticed, people nowadays are so sensitive when it comes to money, it feels like they want more and more money.
Greedy its comes silently when someone feel greedy its mean that want had that hardly.

They feel greedy because they think they are the only ones who should benefit in some things. They think they have the authority.
They think they’re powerful than other people. They want to have it all and doesn't feel contented.
Greed is something that is hard to resist. There is nothing with wanting more as long as you are doing things the right way. It will only be greed if you are taking more that what you can consume. To continue to want something is not bad. We need it in life in order to succeed. Not wanting anything means that you will not do anything and be complacent on who you are which is sometimes can be a bad thing to do. We need to continue to strive for more to be more. Life is too short to worry about being greedy.
Being greedy is good after we work hard to get what we want.It normal went you take the things more than we needs.Sometimes people being greedy for to satisfied them self because they don't like to sharing to others people.
Greed is thinking about yourself most of the time, without caring about what the other person feels. Greed destroys friendships, relationships, and is the root cause of bigger mankind troubles like war and corruption. If you don’t control and become aware of it, your greed will only increase with each passing day. And even if you fulfill your every desire you won’t be able to live a happy life, because it’s the nature of greed to desire for another wish when one wish is fulfilled.
I think because of discontentment in life, And I would agreed to somebody said that there are lot of greedy people due to in real life they nothing. Because of don't have anything to their life, they're thinking everything which is a bad things that leads them to become greed.
In my opinion, other people feel so greedy in everything because they want everything, they are not satisfied and contented to what they have right now. I've known this person that he have everything or should I say he is blessed enough because he have house and lot, cars and money but their's one thing that they don't have it is LOVE. The woman that his looking for, the love of his life or he said the ONE is not in love with her or she don't have a feeling for him and he don't want to feel rejected that's why he dont pursue her. That's why he doing the things where he is the best and where he knows that he can be succesful and he can win in the game.
They wanted to get everything that is being greedy. When they are obsessed and want to get what they wanted in life.
It is not necessary to say that they are greedy. Perhaps just a man with a hard time got a penny given and it is important for his family and he can not sacrifice it. They are deputies, all sorts of ministers, because they are accustomed to having everything in chocolate.
Because of discontentment and unsatisfaction. People don't appreciate small things around them. They are not satisfied with small achievements because they wantesld more. They even want things even you cannot afford. The result is covetousness. Being greed is being covetous.
There are also people who are so competitive that they cannot handle to lose or being rejected. They don't like the idea that someone if more superior to them or that they are on the losing end so they tend to be greedy not because they want the prize but they wanted to win.
There are many reasons why people could be greedy. First, there are those people who experienced to have nothing and when they were given the opportunity, they are no longer allowing that same thing to happen so they take more than what is needed.
Because they believe that money will bring them happiness and piece of mind, but the truth is that it does not happen like that.

I think people become greedy because they are not contented with what they have.. Praises, money, position these are all materials things thay cannot be taken with us when we die. I beliwve people who are greedy doesnt believe in God above and afterlife. Because if so, they will know tjat greediness is not a goid thing to do and feel.

Greediness is as a result of covetousness, what you have must be enough for you not that you will be looking for possible means to take others people belongs. When someone is greedy it can kill ,steal and destroy.
Because with greed they can earn more things and feel more superior than other, and the greedy person like to see other suffering, so they take and hoard as much as possible, but greed is not good, one day it will destroy the people, greedy person only love himself/herself

All of them are because of the typical human characteristics. With the social background the competition between the people goes up. With this competition each and every person want to earn as much as possible for their own. Then they become greedy for everything.
They feel so greedy in everything simply because they want to have everything, which isn't possible.
It's like this if you be greedy to a friend a family member or someone in your area then the damage done

People feel so greedy because they are lack of contentment thats why greediness is there character
The most common greed that human has is on money. We know that money can give you power, you can get the justice system on your favor so I think that's where the greed is coming from. These type of people don't want to end up with no cash because it can do almost everything so they want more.
I really think that it's part of human nature. People always want to have things that they see from other people that they don't have or can't have. Of course why would you want something that you already have. We never feel contented of the things that we have, and sometimes even if we already have too much we still want more.
Because they happy by being greedy. But greedy is bad for the people who greed in money, money is temporary happines.
I think is an attitude they possessed.
The reason is primarily the social depression of such people, they feel inferior, deprived, inferior beings in comparison with others. Therefore, as soon as such a person has the opportunity to get a little more, he considers it a chance for himself and tries to snatch everything that can be.

When we talk about about " Greediness " It is always came from authority, and money where most people always got tempted on this things, were up to now in our generation people got greed because of money most of the time and enviousness could be the last thing of being greed.

Other are being greedy in everything because of envy. This is because of lack of attention and they might not being loved as much as they needed it, so they were envious to those who gets affection that they don't be able to recieve. You're right that there are those greedy people that you can find at work, friends and even on families. I think if those people were given enough love by people around them they will be satisfied for what they have and won't feel such negativity in life.

They are greedy because what they want is to success just by their self and They are greedy because they are selfishly thinking of themselves and they also don't want to endure them because they only want is that they are only the one who should success. And when you are already a successful person they are going to pull you down because of their greediness.

People has no contentment, it's part of our nature to be greedy and jealous for what others have. Even if some people already have a lot they never stop for wanting more. Even rich people get jealous and never get contented with what they have.

Greed is manifested in an active desire to accumulate, in the desire to have more. However, this quality can be said much more.

I think the major reason of men's greediness is uncontentment. Most of us wants to have more than what we have if there are chances. However, aiming too much is not right, we must work for it. There are people who already experience that hardship of having nothing that they don't want to experience it again.
No matter how much you have, you will always want to have some more. It has always been that way, even rich people want to be even richer. This is probably the law of nature.
I guess a greedier a person has a better chance of succeeding and passing down their genes.
It is natural for people to envy with each other , greediness is a nature in each of everyone . Because people wants was what others have . They envy others that is why people feel greedy. Cause we are living in a material world and i'm a material girl...say the song. there is nothing more to add. 
It is a problem of measure. The natural insting to pursue one owns interest in many people gets carried away up to the real of greed, where you want more and more and cannot feel satisfied. Is like a healthy approach to sex versus nymphomania.

Recently, people are really distinguished by increased greed. Unfortunately, this is a normal development of our society and is connected with technological growth. The more comfort people get, the more they want. Having received money and comfort the person aspires to receive also the power, and with acquisition of the power it needs more money and comfort. It is very addictive - like drugs, then a person ceases to understand what he is doing and what he wants, just increases his power and money.

We cannot rebuke them because of what they are doing sir, we doesn't know what is the reason why they are doing that. Yes it is not good for us to act them like that, however, it is a fulfillment to them. It reflects their experiences before, commonly negative experiences.
There are not all people are greedy. There are people who like giving more than getting. You must think more optimistically. You should start with yourself. You have to give a stranger something for nothing. This feeling is beautiful!

IMO, greedy is our natural instinc and it's really hard to remove it off. So control it and you will become success cause you won't face with risks.

People greedy because they don't have God. Being greedy is a sin.

Hi Guys, I'm a newbie. Got a lot of things going on my mind especially regarding Greed. I feel the need to open this topic with you all so I wont be blind sided. I do believe that by giving you feel satisfied about life and that blessing overflows. I don't seem to get it from other people who are too greedy for material things, for praises, for time and affection. At work, people seem to harm others emotionally just to have that position they longed for years. At home, other siblings think for themselves only and not even checking out on their parents how they are doing or how's their finances. With friends, there is always someone who wanted to be the center in everything. Who wanted all the praises and would think that they're the boss because they are the richest from the group. Mind if I get some feedback on this?
I've always been interested in this question, why so many people are stingy.
We should treat people same like they do to us. If not we will get hurt emotionally. We have to be good, but also we have to think about our selves. Just because you are rich doesn't mean you are the success. Anyone can be rich, but only a someone special can be rich in heart.
For me being greedy means that the person need something that really important to him/her or missing in their whole life.
It's just basic human nature - people want more and more, and be better than others, even if you still sleep just in one bed and eat from one plate.
Agree with you.And it is very pity, but most of people always try to get more and more money/emotions/attention/etc even if they already have enought.
Its natural human characteristic.You have to accept it. Nothing can stop it.
Start living a lifestyle of being a minimalist meaning throw your other stuff away and pnly use what is essntial to you not to have more or less than what you need if you understand this you can try getting rid of greed by this method

Peoples greedy they are not contented of their life. They want to grab others wealth, to prove their self that they are powerful. But, they dont know someday they will suffer consequences of their mistakes..

I think some people are greedy of everything because they aren't contented enough for what they have. Maybe they have already experience the agony of having or lacking of something. Maybe, they just wanted to secure and have the assurance for their future. Uncontentment is human nature, they still try to have more and more
