Aren't we all going for the same end goal here, to build a better community and help improve society's technology? Blockchain is here to stay, and yet it seems like everybody is choosing either THIS side or THAT side. Hating one another and trying to outdo everyone else. There is no competition... only the opposition.  Cool

I think there are many people who genuinely want to build a great Bitcoin and Blockchain community with no division. Yet there is no doubt about the fact there are even more people who just want to shill their coins or prove they are right about something (scaling problems, etc.) . Many people seem to be more interested to quarrel with others rather than making Bitcoin better and better. I think that since we are gonna face very hard objections and fights (with governments, banks, etc.) we gotta stay united.

We are trying to build as a group but most people are inherently short-sighted and for some reason fail to see if the industry grows they will likely benefit. Most people think that if their coin doesn't moon or go up 10x in a span of a few months things are scammy, rigged, and whatever else. I only can hope that more people see the world through your lens because it is not only healthy but beneficial for all who are in crypto.

That was the goal once upon the time, during the age of the Valar and the Ainur.
Nowadays you can count with one hand the ones that truly desire that and they cast aside financial gains.

We are here for the money, and I will not deny this one bit.
Better community? What better community?
There are people who don't want to be friends with everybody. There are people who don't give a damn about hunger in Africa or was in Yemen. And why should they?

And yes, everything is about competition.
There is a finite number of how many users can invest in one coin and how much they can.
And everyone wants the pie of his coin to be the largest.

I believe these are still the most popular coins just because they were first. Thus, people tend to believe more in them, they see their growth patter and want to invest specifically in them, whereas it is very difficult for new cryptocurrencies to prove themselves and build that trust in people (with the number of scams around).
