Accountants are not rude. It has to do with the person you came in contact with. I have seen a guy say guys are bad. He considers girls trash but that was his opinion based on the people he has seen.
Accountants mentally strong people who deal with alot. So cut them some slacks and try a different approach. Things may work out well for you.

Why does they always think person could cheat on documents, when you're just encoding it to a system.
Why do the don't usually compromise small details? Like if computation is incorrect they'll just throw it away and will ask you to make another one.
