Recently I created a topic in Altcoin discussion "Please help with the Coins technical comparison chart" , asked for some real help. So, only 1 reply so far with something like "Go and google".

So, this Altcoin "Discussion" forum is just for hype-hype of scammy ICOs with a shiny covers and promises (not all ICOs are scam, yes, but most).

OK, nice work crypto "community". Scam and hype is in trend, OK.

Well, of course a new algorithm will have a lot to prove, and time will tell us if PoSig can really beat PoS and PoW, but from what is claimed in the documentation, it looks solid enough for some excitement. I'm not a technical guy unfortunately, so cannot say about how strong those claims are. I do agree that x100 would be a bit too much for that sort of valuation. Then again, theoretically, 1 satoshi to 100 satoshi is x100, so it depends on how you see it climb!

Well, i think you have to do a more detailed research, and then you will see a bigger picture.

PoSign is great: Why Proof-of-Signature triumphs over PoW / PoS

If you think about PoSing with all available infos, it’s advantages are clear.

You lost money on your self, not on this coin. You only lose money when you sell, so you decide to make that loss. Don't blame it on the project.

This project has very high potential but it requires patience and well, that seems rare in crypto so it's difficult to go x100 if you already sell at x2 because x100 takes too long. It was 300 a week (or 2 ago) and 1700 sat on it's ATH if I'm not mistaken. Then it got massively dumped by a big bag holder and for a new project, that brings drama. If the project rises to 1000-1500 sat again, the FOMO will start and everyone will start "XBY TO THE MOON" again. Untill then, some people will believe, others will doubt and a few will hate this project. I think you should invest in this project and then put it in a wallet for about a year and look where it is then.

Sorry to hear that. There are quite a number of 4chan members involved with XBY, which can give the wrong impression. The developer looks solid though.

I do think a new consensus method is a big difference. Many coins nowadays have exactly the same features and therefore potential business cases.

Having a completely different method will either become very successful (x100) or fail miserably (lose everything). I have invested in XBY, because the upside is large if it works. Current estimations are that with PoSign we can finally beat VISA in transaction speed. Additionally, I like the fact that DApps can be created in any programming language, making this blockchain more easily accessible for developers.

But I agree, without the tech implemented it's a big risk. However; after the tech is implemented it will either be at 0 or x100 so it's too late to get in. All depends on your risk appetite.

XBY will be very powerful and if you don't believe it it's your choice. Proof of Signature will be the most secure consensus out there and thanks to VITALS and PULSE transactions are like instant (see Xfuel) Cool

There are so much more features it is stunning like the ability to drag and drop just any app onto XBY to make it decentralized or you can just write your own d-app on it's blockchain with any coding language. And the list goes on..
