I see several reasons. Some of the celebrities decides to focus more on a career then on a family. Love on a distance, rare meetings with second half always end badly. Another reason is money. When someone gets a lot of money, such persons often becomes independent. Who needs a wife, when you can hire someone that will cook, keep house clean, someone that will look after kids or simply is younger? Who needs a husband, if you can hire someone that will fix everything, carry heavy items, be a protection or simply looks different than a person you see for years every day? Another reason - I have read somewhere, that love lasts for 3-5 years only, and then you have only sympathy.
Yea, they take career so serious over their marriages, and some go as far as not breastfeeding their new born kids to the expected duration of time just because they want their body to still be in shape at the expense of a new born baby, most female celebrities want the good things in life like their other celebrities and if you as the man can't provide those things then they don't see a reason staying with you or might even start chearitin the marriage to get those things, even the social media effect too as a celebrity you are now a social figure and what ever goes on in your life will be so open to the public, most celebrities live their life on social media and allow social media to destroy it. I think there is a lot of vanity & narcissism in these relationships. They’re not regular people, money & fame changes them plus they often spend a long time apart from their partner, in different parts of the world, working on films or music, sport etc.

Their marriage often hides the dark side of emotions, status, brand polish, etc., it's almost pragmatic. I tend to agree with you on this one,all the reasons made are correct,and another thing I see that makes their marriage not to last is over familiaruty.When two couples have been together for sometimes,or for some years,the marriage now becomes boring,the man gets tired of the woman,while the woman also gets tired of the man,the both partners becomes tired of each other bacause they have seen each other too much and has such has made the love to fade.At this point in time,what now keeps the relationship is not love,it's friendship,if your spouse can be your friend,then there is every tendency that you guys can still retain interest in each other.

They live in Florida and meet with a billionaire from Paris and think what it would be to live in Europe, having even more money than they have now, or how it would be to live in Australia with a famous surfer, or explore the African jungle with a famous traveler. There's always something exciting and it's easy, they want you there you just have to say yes. This exploits our natural drive to self improve and make the best out of what we're given.
