You need merit for ranking up. Possibly because of preventing spamming

Dear participants of the forum, help to understand. Why does not the rank of Jr.Member change on  Member?  The activity is higher than that of some Members.
Because as you can see there is already merit, you need to get 10 merit for you to rank up as a member. The administrator now are become more strict because there is some before that they only want to rank up and there post is not quality that's why the forum leader announced about the merit matter for us to post a quality post.

because of the new policy. you need now to have 10 merits before you rank up to member. to get merits is really hard. you need to make a quality post and then if someone like your post they will give you merits.

the merit system like people above have said ... , it is necessary in my eyes to stop spamming

It is necessary to stop spamming, yet you are perfectly okay with being the 4th person to say the exact same thing. You've acknowledged that others have said this already, meaning you decided to post the exact same information that has already been posted multiple times for no good reason. You did not add anything to the conversation.

The system of ranks has changed. Now to get a Member you need to earn merits. Merit you can earn if you publish useful posts and other participants will appreciate them and send merits.
You will need merits (min. 10) in order to promote from Jr. Member to Member. Maybe they changed the system to stop the spams.

This is exactly why I suggest locking the thread; even though these people are well aware that you have received your answer they will continue to post the same information and spam your thread until you decide to lock it. It is poor etiquette to walk away from a thread carelessly once you are satisfied with what you have gotten out of it. It leaves quite the mess behind.

Help the needy, do the little things others ignore
a new layer has been added, the merit system like people above have said

I've been reading on the merit system and while it is sad that I wont have the opportunity others had, it is necessary in my eyes to stop spamming

There's that option below the topic.

Bottom Left hand side of the thread you will see the option to Lock/Unlock your thread. This is appropriate once you've received an answer to your question to avoid the same information from being posted multiple times or spammers to take advantage of your thread.

If you're having trouble finding this there is a nice thread here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-lock-threads-after-receiving-enough-replies-2841800 , which was made to explain this for people that just stop paying attention to their threads once they've gotten their answer.

I think you missed this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-read-before-posting-1689727 when opening the Beginners & Help childboard, my suggestion is dont prone to create a new topic before you read the post pinned in every board

its because you now need merits to rank up, you need 10 merits to rank up from jr. member to member and it goes so on from there.

It's because of the new merit system. You now need 10 merits(along with the previously required activity) to be promoted to the "member" rank.
