This is absolutely normal. Most magazines which sell in different countries tailor their content to each market. American magazine Car and Driver has a Spanish, a Chinese and a Middle East edition. All with localized contents and covers.

Thank you for being the first person making sense in this thread. It's no secret that there are different versions of TIME or other magazines.

Nobody, not even Americans, reads Time magazine anymore so it doesn´t really matter.
QFT, if you want to know what matters to americans these days, especially the youth, read Reddit's frontpage.

Yeah...

Panda cub needs help coming down from a tree.

No I wasn't playing in the grass clippings! Why do you ask?

I am a vacuum repair technician and subject of the latest Upvoted podcast, "The Surprisingly Complex Life Of A Vacuum Repairman", here with a special Spring Cleaning edition. AMA!

My guess is some toilet paper thickness varies from country to country...

When Bitcoin comes of age, they'll have different thickness of fiat for the different classes of people in the U.S., too.

Smiley

When bitcoin comes of age, the powers that be will have a hard time deciding which font to use, laser engraving "666" on million of people's forehead...

I would go for comic sans myself...

 Cool

Blasphemy, against the Bitcoin god.         Grin

Try looking at the copy of an Egyptian newspaper that the locals get versus that which is on the web in English, lol...

Like, if you wanted to buy a house in Aswan, any advertising pointed at Americans or Europeans shows the house for sale by a realtor at a hundred times (greatly inflated) the cost that the seller would sell to a fellow Egyptian.

Many stories are not interesting for most people outside the U.S. - the same applies to New York Times  vs. Intl. New York Times

Nobody, not even Americans, reads Time magazine anymore so it doesn´t really matter. Was the operation sold for 50 cents or was it Newsweek, another useless rag ?
