Hi
Does someone have an idea why this tx does not get confirmed?

I do not see what is wrong with it. There is 1$ fee attached to it.

1$ fee is nothing at now days.
network is overloaded, and increesing fees are killing bitcoin.
many people will abandon this coin for that.
next time use a priority fee if you are in a rush. or use viabtc tools, to accelarate your transfer

I don't think are abandoning Bitcoin for fees. Imagine a single coin today is $6.3k and transaction fee would be likely 1% or 2%. That doesn't hurt the butt if you know what I mean.
Well, in order to speed up transactions to avoid pending is to use accelerators to push it to network.

Sadly,  you didn't put enough of a fee on it.  The good news is that there are free transaction boosts in the services section.

Go to the services section and use a free/cheap transaction accelerator,  this should hopefully solve your issues with this transaction not wanting to confirm due to low fees compared to average.

The fee in order to complete a transaction varies on the Bitcoin network from time to time. There is effectively a backlog of transactions on the network caused by the fact that the current rate of finding a block and adding transactions from the mempool to the next block is limited.

Your transaction will be eventually be confirmed if/when the number of people sending Bitcoin slows or if everyone also sends transactions with a low fee like yours but if Bitcoin usage spikes and everyone is happier to pay higher transaction fees than you (in per byte terms) - it will potentially never be confirmed.

There is a possibility that as Bitcoin nodes go offline and come back on that the rate of mempool synchronisation drops and your transaction gets lost and expires - or that the Bitcoin devs update the clients to kick transactions over a certain age from the mempool but I think that is more unlikely.

In fact your question is what has sparked the whole block size debate. If blocks were bigger - you could process more transactions in them and confirmation times would be reduced.

There is more information on the proposed solutions in the following links.

The total amount of fees that you've paid doesn't matter at all. What matters is the amount of fees that you've paid/size. In your transaction, you have paid 79 satoshi/byte which is way below the average of 290 satoshi/byte. In addition, with the large gap in the frequency of the mining of blocks, less transactions would likely to be confirmed in a given period of time. There is a lesser chance for your transaction to be confirmed.
