spectre71-If you [sic] had done anything at all [sic] you would have informed us in a constructive way and asked for input.-I do not care about your input because you are clearly anti-intellectual and hateful.

I'm calling you out, show us your verifiable work? Papers. RFP's? Thesis?-Please ask nicely. You need to learn words like 'please' and 'thank you'. You need to respond in such a way that does not prompt the response 'go poop on yourself.'

"You see just some of my work started a Beowulf Scyld, Penguin, Dolphin wide band memory, Lawrence Livermore Lab and Fermi Lab. Some of my work ended up a CERN as well. After that Sr Engineer at a fortune 5 company. I would stress test these systems with science applications such a folding proteins for Stanford university. Think over 10,000 processors in tandem. I've dropped more ones's and zero's before lunch then you will in your life."-That is great. But you would do much more to advance science by learning skills such as humility and how to not act like a complete and total chlurmcklet.

"ad hominem fallacy (or ad hominem) is an attempt to discredit someone's argument by personally attacking them."-Is it really a fallacy if I am just stating what should be obvious?

"Instead of discussing the argument itself, criticism is directed toward the opponent's character, which is irrelevant to the discussion."-No. Your character is very relevant to the discussion because you are a chlurmcklet.

"The keyboard buffer allows you to a real tough guy huh? Would you talk that way in public? I doubt it. It would take a PHD in dental reconstructive surgery."-Now you are promoting violence? You are truly a very evil person. May God damn your soul and the souls of every member of your family. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for his holy and relentless wrath against humanity.

"Pay up, let's see your greatness oh smart one."-You are not worth having a serious conversation with.

People like spectre71 are not worth communicating with. They are nasty complainers.

Hispo-There is no difference between a chlurmck and a schmuck. Yes. I made the word up. You got me. Nevertheless, the meaning of the word 'chlurmck' is still 100% obvious. I live in the USA, and the people in the USA do not consider anything as sacred. And the constitution has already been compromised. If you are in the USA, then the best thing you can do to protect your own constitutional rights is to get out of the USA. The USA has the most prisoners out of any country, so patriotism is a scam.

spectre71-

I have been doing this since the late nineties.-I appreciate your service. But then again, you still come off as an absolutely horrible worthless pile of trash because you have nothing but insults and straw man arguments. You should do the world a favor and shut the fuc^ up until you get a fuck@#$ (I am censoring myself the right way) education (and you are not just uneducated; you are fucking stupid and worthless).

Here is the rub, who is going to pay for all the equipment, electricity, cooling, building and time?-I am not talking about this. You are making a straw-man argument. Have you ever heard of cryptocurrency mining? That pays.

Science computing doesn't pay at all, never has probably never will.-I am not talking about BOINCs. I don't know if you know this, but cryptocurrency mining is a thing. We should therefore point cryptocurrency mining in the right direction.

So I task you oh proclaimed smart one, develope a paying model for science computing!-How do you know that I have not developed a model already?

Instead of calling people dumb and promoting yourself as smart I have a novel idea YOU do something.-I already did.

I imagine you don't do anything at all.-No. You and all your friends are just too fuck@#$ stupid to realize what I have done. Go poop on yourself.

What else are you going to do with all that free time in moms basement?-The world will be a much better place if you pooped on your own face.

Lead the way oh smart one!-I am leading the way by telling you that you need to go poop on yourself.

Well here is project that uses computer idle time to solve various projects. It's basically donating cycle time of already existing equipment. I have been doing this since the late nineties.

BADecker-A chlurmck is like a schmuck. Bitcoiners are chlurmcks who cannot understand that their behavior is making Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies much less valuable.

I think BADecker wanted to know whether there is any significant difference between a schmuck and a chlurmck. If there is no difference I would like to know that is indeed a word you created or it is an actual variation from where you live.

Also, Doctor, you mention that the Constitution of the United States can be changed (I suppose you are talking about a constitutional Referendum) but much of the population of that country see the Constitution as a sacred document which should not be altered and managing to charge some of the articles on it which set the liberties of people (like freedom or speech or the right to bear arms) would be a sensitive enough topic to start civil unrest in the country.

The American society is already quite divided, changing one of the most importants documents in national politics wont help with that ...

Here comes the chlurcmks who know absolutely nothing about anything.

I like how all you worthless scummy ass bags of scum are talking about PROFIT, CHA-CHING, $$$, and whatnot without realizing that maybe people should try understanding what they are investing in because that may be healthy for their financial status.

Hispo-The constitution can change. People who refuse education will end up with a constitution or in a country with a constitution that locks people up for the most asinine reasons possible. Just look at what is happening in the USA. In the USA, people are free to be ignorant right now, but that may not be the case always. Soon we will have to face the music. And for making horrible decisions, people will suffer. It does not matter if I talk about the benefits of not wasting resources for no reason at all. People do not want to hear it because people are just as addicted to waste as John McAfee was.

yhiaali3-People should know what they are investing in. People cannot be focused on profit without f@#$ing understanding anything about anything.

Since Bitcoiners are so ignorant about absolutely everything, the government should criminalize cryptocurrency technologies and lock up everyone for life for having cryptocurrency. Your anti-intellectualism is not cute. It is deplorable. You are pathetic. Stop being so f@#$ing pathetic.

BADecker-That makes no sense at all. Electricity should be used to do something as useful as possible. Yes. Cryptocurrencies are useful. But so is solving the most important scientific problem. Why would you refuse to solve the most important scientific problem for absolutely no reason at all?

~

People who don't have toasters don't think that electricity is useful toaster-wise. But they DO think electricity is useful for other things.

Everybody who uses electricity would be happy to pay for their electricity with electricity cryptocurrency. They could even get off of fiat for electricity that way.

The thing that you are right about is the most important scientific problem. Science should at once focus entirely on validating the Bible, because the Bible is God's Word, and it is God Who built and controls all science and physics and everything else. This would bring happiness and joy to all people, because they could then see the greatness and love of God.

Most people who work in Bitcoin, whether mining or trading, have their first goal as profit, so they don't care about education or using Bitcoin to solve an important scientific problem, they leave these things to the developers.

You can't blame them anyway. Should the driver, for example, know all the precise technological details of the car and the way it was designed and installed? He doesn't care at all, all he cares about is being able to drive a car crazy fast!!!

mu_enrico-Now Bitcoiners are not expected to do their own research to see if what they are investing in is good or not. This is because they are dumb. They are really dumb. They are braindead. They need to be locked up. Stop making excuses for people's idiocy. It is not cute. It is foolish.

Hello, Dr Joseph.
Nice to know you are still around sharing your ideas and thoughts with us.

I had talked about the necessity of Education before with other people online, it was not within the context of technology or Bitcoin, but that is not relevant for this conversation. After talking about with with a person from the United States I was told that under the Constitution of such country people actually have the right to be ignorant or clueless about things which are not of their importance, hence in a practical sense/ legal stand point one cannot be imprisoned because ones lack of knowledge, am I right?

So it would better to find a different approach to push forward and improve as society, convincing people there are things which are good to be learnt is harder but more constructive that an aggressive solution as locking people up may sound in the hears of many.

Talking about Thermodynamics and getting catching the attention of regular citizens is difficult, so instead let us talk about its benefits so they will be prompted to seek for books themselves.

You don't need to deeply know about mining algorithms to be a Bitcoiner. Probably you have your own definition of "Bitcoiner" ??
People just order ASIC, plug it into the socket, configure a bit, and start mining. Same thing about GPU mining. It's basically plug-and-play without needing to know the technical behind the algorithm. Everyone with any educational background can mine, that's the beauty of this system. It's all the same with the wallet, private key, etc., now users are just to be users.

I am pretty sure bitcoiners who are more on the development side already working on their thing, it will probably advance science if they are successful.

OgNasty-It is easily doable. But the problem is that it requires EDUCATION. And education is lacking. I was a professor, so I know that universities promote violence. Universities have provided people with very little education. Universities have instead deceived people into thinking that they know something when in reality they know absolutely nothing at all. In fact, universities have deceived people into thinking they are educated just because they have met a lot of weirdos. WHAT A BUNCH OF CHLURMCKLETS!!! Since people and especially Bitcoiners lack education, they have absolutely no way of knowing whether an idea is good or not. And without this recognition, we do not advance science.

BADecker-That makes no sense at all. Electricity should be used to do something as useful as possible. Yes. Cryptocurrencies are useful. But so is solving the most important scientific problem. Why would you refuse to solve the most important scientific problem for absolutely no reason at all?

iBaba-That makes no sense. Do people honestly think that they can get rich by refusing to solve the most important scientific problem? That sounds like crazy-talk to me.

Bitcoin in Niger State💯
Many Bitcoiners may prioritise the financial benefits of mining cryptocurrencies over the scientific purposes.  Although some Bitcoiners are more concerned with prospective financial advantages, others may be more  interested in delving into the technological breakthroughs and future applications of blockchain technology. For the time being, I don't believe the enabling atmosphere or platform is in place. But, of course, if we continue to debate such concerns and raise awareness, we will, sooner or later, begin to tackle problems in that direction.

Hosting up conferences, symposiums, or forums to emphasise the benefits of mining cryptos to advance science will go a long way.

Harnessing mining power for other uses is something that has evaded people mostly. I’m sure if it were easily doable, we would all be mining to help whatever scientific cause is available. I suspect that merged mining could enable someone to build a solution to this problem, but so far I’ve seen nothing moving in that direction.

Well of course they care about the science. Just watch as they make enough money to start electrical power plants to further enhance their mining without hurting the people. Then they will start using the excess electrical power as another form of cryptocurrency, directly, without converting it to Bitcoin or an altcoin. Might not be your kind of science. But it's still science.

Bitcoiners do not care at all about using cryptocurrency mining to solve an important scientific problem because Bitcoiners generally have very low levels of intelligence. In the past before 2017, Bitcoin was still a novel idea, so Bitcoiners on average probably had a higher level of intelligence. But now that Bitcoin has become more mainstream, it has attracted a lot of dumb people who know nothing. Now, it is really difficult to find a Bitcoiner who is intelligent enough to understand that Bitcoin's mining algorithm was never designed to advance science. Bitcoiners usually hate science very much because they are braindead doofuses.
