Having alt accounts is not against rules.
However, I remember there was one case when moderator banned 200 alt accounts.
Reminds me of this case where the mods banned a whole office. Shocked
Yep, that's the one.
No, because they will create new accounts and start doing the same thing over and over again.
It's not that easy anymore because they will need tons of merit to rank up. If we ban all the old farmed accounts who are already Sr/Hero Member, those spammers will end up running out of accounts.
I disagree.
All accounts from OP are junior member accounts, value of collected tokens is 27000$ and I don't think they care about rank, besides, there is no rank requirement for twitter bounty and as I said if you ban 20 accounts new 20 will pop out with different twitter profiles.
Why everyone believes merit is solution and such people will give up and leave forum?
Would you leave forum if you could earn $27K posting from bunch of junior member accounts knowing you won't ever rank up?
Some of the CM's are already require members account only for twitter campaigns. If this will be required by other managers, then there no need to ban them. Also, campaign managers job to check if the members have neg trust specially if they are suspected alts.

I believe everyone should be given a fair chance to participate and support projects they like. Being a newbie doesn't make a difference all there is to it is that one can a little bit late to the bitcointalk.org party. In cases where accounts are flagged red, such account should be banned from bounty participation.

How would we ban abusers? IP bans can ban more than one person so that wouldn't work and there are tons of ways to get around that, if they just ban the account they can make an alt account

Besides if we banned red trusted accounts we wouldn't have quickseller!

~ snip ~
exactly as you said they will return with new bitcointalk account and twitter/facebook/telegram account and etc
limitation should be imposed by the project developer or bounty manager to their participants
they abused the bounties and not the forum, it's not the forum owner's responsibilities to control that
wait until that new mixer implements ETH support Lips sealed  it will be getting harder to find alts simply based on ETH address

Yes but if managers will make a blacklist with a simple rule on excel "if" "than" users will need to make new social media accounts and this is a big deal, (they will be slowed down a lot cause many bounties required at least 3-6 months old account).
Also is not only the eth address a clue to find and alt or abusers. The eth address is the final proof when they collect tokens.

I own Bitcoin Scammer.com - and it's hosted at the moment. I put the merit beggars page on there, but I haven't put up a root index page. I'll do that now.

Do you guys want to use that to report crypto scams?

Instead of banning people, forum should collect tax from us to hire more mods to delete and remove our garbage posts. if we are coming back with more accounts we should pay more tax and forum should hire more mods. doing that would help this forum to grow more.

As title why don't we ban abusers instead only red tag them?
---snip---
Don't you think a ban is necessary to prevent them to post again? And if you think “they can create a new account and use the same twitter account”, you can limit the access to alt currency at jr member/ member +
This in my opinion is the important part, if we ban accounts and impose a minimum rank, it limits (does not eliminate) their abuse.

I already expressed it before and saying again, we might need more mods IMO. The number of accounts are increasing everyday and obviously the number of posts as well. Every day it is going very difficult for the existing mods to look after all these cases. That's why I do not blame them.

all 19 found are now red flagged, but they keep posting reports on bounties and what is the result?
Better question would be - why bounty managers are accepting -ve accounts and paying them multiple times.
More than 20k stolen and probably a lot more incoming
