Who is they?

How can they start to pump after having accumulated enough? Why can you not do the same as them?

Market manipulation, they will make you to mine and sell, after they have accumulated enough, they will start to pump. if you spend 40 years in the market you'll understand how market manipulation works.

you could say the same for almost every alt. this demonstrates that the alt market is pretty much one market spread between a bunch of coins. the players don't care what the coins are, they move between them.

we'll see movements when all the bitcoin forks are resolved. until then it's gonna be dead.

well, it is moving quite a lot actually. i am surprised you say this.

but the reason why it has not yet made any "significant" move for some time is that currently ETH is at a stage where new ICOs are being created every day (a lot of them) so there is still the same fake demand for ETH tokens. but at the same time there is a large dumping going on which prevents any kind of rise. it is some kind of equilibrium right now.

if the ICO thing stops, ETH will plunge hard.

Many ICOs released today are ETH based.  As the fork is coming, many alts are transferred to BTC. That is why most alts value today are low and red. ETH is a promising cryotocurrency and is expected to surge in the future. Let us wait after the fork, and see if ETh will live up to its expectation.

Such stable prices suggest that ETH is suitable for long-term investment, as most projects are built on an smart contract platform. In addition, the current crytocurrency market is still too small compared to the general level of the traditional financial market

Bitcoin has so many forks recently that everyone sells alts to get the bitcoin and the free air dropped forked coins...
I doubt ETH will show any significant moves before mid Nov

The ether you see at $300 today was between $8 to $10 for like 3years. It was painfully stable through out those years. So many people held and when it become more valuable and it was rightly priced, we became millionaires. Learn!

It was just like a year ago and not 3 years. Ethereum growth has been fast and it is because of the current platforms and tokens being born within its blockchain. So far ethereum is doing a good job, so the future is bright. The security is the only issue here though, so to keep the potential and growth of ethereum the security issues must be solved.

I strongly believe that ETH in long term would give definitely good returns by holding them.  Volatility will always be there in the cryptocurrency market and is inevitable. Green and red , we will see both of them in any coin. The only thing is that we should have patience and wait for long term especially on ETH type coins. They are also backed by good reputed firms. I will keep the investment for long and reap good profits on ETH.

IMO bitcoin's sudden huge pump makes all altcoins go down, not only ETH, ETH is the most resistant altcoin, other alts are in bloody red now. ETH makes big difference, it will go up when hard fork drama ends.

The main reson for this is that ETH is used on almost every single ICO.

Unfortunately when the ICO moves from crowdsale to a platform - its neccessary to "cash in" the majority of the Ether. Hence the stable price.

Hi ,
Since a long time, eth price is nearly constant and it is not moving any side, Is there any specific reason for that?
