Those things are not enough to surpass Bitcoin and the highest peak the ETH could go to is at the top 2 in the market chart, that's the highest rank the ETH could get even though he has these kinds of features. Bitcoin has lots of support from the other big companies and from the people who always choose it to make it available for their payments. Not just that, as you can see, some companies have converted their saving funds to BTC which makes it more popular and trustworthy to the people.

Nahh.. that makes sense but people are only seeing it from the Mcap or bitcoin as the first crypto that can't be surpassed by anything.
It sounds logic and totally make sense for me. in term of technology bitcoin is truly decentralized but in term of transaction speed, usability or fungibility and ethereum is much better.
Ethereum is better on its way and bitcoin too.

Market cap? Technology? Transaction speed? Fees? Specify what are you saying.

One thing more is that Bitcoin is the first crypto and I don't think that there is a chance for ETH to surpass BTC. In terms of technology maybe since ETH is starting to upgrade and fees as well as the speed but in Market Cap and trust, Bitcoin is still on top and will always be on top

No Biggy , the real reason is that Ethereum is ranked number 2 in which clearly 1 step BEHIND and not Ahead.

And talking about the capacity of ETH to took over the desirable ranking as 1st ? Yes it will happen , When The total Bitcoin is already Mined , and People have leaved Bitcoin to support .

But until those time not come , expect nothing for ETH but will remain at that Position or may Dethroned sooner.

For how many Years that ETH is on that Position while Bitcoin has proven multiple Huge support .

It's very good point. Ethereum's popularity is for smart contract and ERC20 support while Bitcoin works as a payment system. Although technically Ethereum is ahead of Bitcoin because Bitcoin uses blockchain 1.0 while ehtereum uses blockchain 2.0 and they have already launched own Ethereum 2.0 (Ethereum 2.0 ongoing and may take even one year from now to complete the whole process) which is more faster, more salable and more sustainable development support than Bitcoin but this doesn't mean Ethereum is better than Bitcoin.

A forex trader always claims that the bitcoin is a genuine coin in the coinmarkercap. I'm talking matter the in the behind of issue which is ETH have a good potentiality in the Blockchain market at all but it can not be collapsed with BTC. If BTC is counted as the lowest down in CMC, though ETH could not be a higher exchanger than BTC. If we look over in 2017 then we can realize that as well. So, my prediction is on the matter ETH will must hit a large figure at recent moment I hope, but cannot overtake BTC value.

Let's start with the recent Bitcoin rally, where Bitcoin has successfully passed its ATH and approaching a new one, but that cannot be said of Ethereum which proves that, Bitcoin controls the entire market. Also, people are asking when altcoin season will take place, but will that take place with Bitcoin dominance still high? The answer is No. Last year alone, Bitcoin witnessed a lot of attention from many platforms and institutional investors which of course contributed to its growth, meaning that Bitcoin is the king of this crypto space and holds a very delicate stand in the future. However, I won't fail to acknowledge the potential that lies within Ethereum, its smart contracts which is the best, its upcoming upgrade which is believed to play a very huge role in its growth, which means its usability is in another angle, but let's not forget to understand that Bitcoin has come a long way and has become more valuable with each passing day thus Ethereum will have no chance beating it in the future.

If you are really unsure why you should talk about it now ?
Altcoins in general are very different from bitcoin in terms of usage around the world. The public and business people are increasingly interested in bitcoin as a payment system and this is evidenced by the increasing adoption of bitcoin in various business ventures. And this is certainly not the case with ethereum.
So don't expect bitcoin to come out of development in the future and there is no doubt that we will continue to have bitcoin development for the future.

It will be maybe sometime in the future when we will see Ethereum surpassing bitcoin. And I belleive that this could be happening because Ethereum is faster more technological advances but at the end it's better to use both for the time being. Also what makes Ethereum moving io is that Microsoft is adopting it as gaming royalties. And don't forget about the smart contracts that ethereum is providing.
So overall There is a lot of positive points that ethereum gives that's why If you are holding cryptos Ether must be there .

do not believe too much in the articles you read, because most articles only use theory without looking at the facts, you can see it on coinmarketcap if Ethereum dominance does not exceed half a percent of Bitcoin dominance, so it proves that Bitcoin is more popular than Ethereum and it will take a lot of hard work or a long time to make Ethereum more popular than Bitcoin (even though that would be difficult or even impossible), because Bitcoin is 1000 steps ahead of Ethereum and other altcoin, so until whenever Bitcoin will remain at the forefront and superior.

Some people said that Ethereum is better than bitcoin speaking from the perspective of technology within their blockchain, but in my opinion BTC and ETH is kinda different like apple to orange. I mean, what kind of parameters used by those who claims one crypto is better than the other. If we talking about its worth and market cap then there's obvious way to determine which one are better but comparing technology that's actually different. For example, PoS and PoW both have their own advantages (efficiency and security).

It's not even an illusion, if we are talking about the technical comparison between ethereum and bitcoin and i must say that ethereum is better than bitcoin. People were taking bitcoin as crypto that was ruling the crypto market. That makes the bitcoin can be considered as anything. If we are comparing another aspect between bitcoin and ethereum like the history, store of value and many more and bitcoin will be winning.

In the future, anything can happen, but in the next few years, ethereum is not able to outstrip Bitcoin either in price or in terms of capitalization. I don't know if it is one step ahead. This can be an overstatement. What is certain is that Ethereum is developing rapidly. If it succeeds in the scaling problem then it will have an advantage as it will be more useful from Bitcoin that currently is doing nothing but trying to convince everyone it will become gold.

Ethereum will never be One Step ahead of Bitcoin, because you can see on coinmarketcap if BTC Dominance is 69.3% and it proves that there are still many people who believe to investing in Bitcoin rather than Ethereum, so I think Bitcoin remains the best cryptocurrency and of course the king of cryptocurrency, because besides that Bitcoin and Ethereum also have different function (Bitcoin is used for payment and Ethereum is used for smart contract).
