China is not just a country, it's a world of its own. I don't own any Antshares because they are too expensive for me, but this will probably become big.

competitors you mentioned are not Chinese exactly like what happened with facebook,Amazon and google they all failed against Weibu,Baidu and Ali Baba, so the reason behind antshares is that China love their own stuff.

The price is overvalued, and I'm not think if that can be a good decision to invest on the antshares rightnow. Antshares just an ethereum of Chinese that has a lot of manipulation on its price. It is not worth to invest on antshares if you can invest in another better project.

I agree with you, we are know China very like Antshares, some people say it is Ethereum of China. But China is one of country have more rich man and very easy control the price the altcoin they like. As LTC when Segwit increasing very strong and fast, then after all crash 50% make many trader have big loss from that happens

I agree that frantically buying in just because people have said "Chinese Ethereum" is really not a good idea.
As with everything else, everyone needs to their own research before buying in. No-one should buy just because of hype, and conversely no-one should stay out just because of FUD.

Exactly the same for me. I went with Waves, but today I've picked up some ANS too. Not many so far, but the price is relatively volatile so there's the opportunity to trade up to a greater amount. Plus I might set up some sell orders on other coins, depending on how it goes.

My thinking about getting in now was that if BIP91 goes through, the current dump is over, and it might be a while before the next dump... by which time ANS (or NEO) will probably be better established and so more expensive.

I am a conservative investor, invested only in ETH and XMR as those have real fundamentals and development. Antshares (and Waves) are the only other investments for which I have decided now, especially Antshares which could be the chinese answer to Ethereum. If the chinese Gov starts supporting Antshares the price could reach easily ETH values over 200 or 400 USD per Antshare.

I held 9 different coins before the dip, and I wanted to pick up one heavily discounted new coin. I couldn't decide between ANS and Waves, but I went with Waves just because it had fallen so far and has such good prospects for a quick rebound.

Now ANS is my #1 interest out of the coins that I don't hold. I suspect I'll be in at some point, probably for a long-term hold. I need to do more research, but it seems extremely promising.
