Sometimes claiming a certain altcoin after participating in their airdrop and bounty requires fee in adding such coin to your personal wallet, after doing a lot of social tasks, and we newbies have no token in wallet, this resulting to forfeiting of coins. Please why fee on such wallet?

I assume you're talking about merkle airdrop. Those fees are required because you need to execute a contract, just like what happens if you use a dex, where you need to pay even for depositing your own tokens.

Stellar wallet on the other hand implimented the deposit of at least 1-4 xlm into a newly created wallet to prevent spam. Note the deposited xlm is for keeping the account active and most time you can't spend it. That 4 xlm isn't up to $1.
I like this Stellar action. You can't imagine how many Ethereum address left unused and people's creating multiple eth address. We can see how cheating people's on airdrop, especially by creating new eth address. So each individual address receiving airdrop token. This way people's just using one time wallet.

Look like OP trying to create multiple wallet for airdrop (IMO) that's why worrying about diposite.

It isn't the fault of the Airdrop or bounty managers or site. Service provide such as metamask are extension used on most browser to prevent getting scammed by phishing site. It's a dApp acting like a bridge therefore a small fee is needed most times $0.1 +/- to receive tokens into your wallet and later you can send the token to your personal wallet.

In conclusion most legitimate campaign using matemask is to prevent scammers from cheating the Airdrop/bounty with multiple address as they'll require a fee to do so. Airdrop using metamask can be classified as selfdrops, back in 2017 I received some tokens through this means and they had value (tradable in the market). Although currently participating in airdrop is no longer worth it due to the numerous worthless tokens in circulation.

If you're talking about the need of minimum balance in order for the address to become usable, ethereum doesn't have it, only stellar. It's ready to receive coins/tokens once generated, but as said above, you still need to pay for the miner fees if you want to move any assets.

The minimum balance is a part of stellar to prevent spam so it's out of any manager's hand. Just do note that you should only send it to an account which you are the only one who's in control of.

Never ever send ETH to a bounty manager to cover as fee for a token to be sent to you. It is usually scam. If a bounty manager or project cannot even afford a few for bounty distribution then it's a useless project. They are sending you worthless tokens that have no value.

Always report such projects to scam accusation board if they haven't paid your bounty and bounty managers will be summoned to explain their actions.

However, if you are planning to transfer tokens to an exchange, you need to have some same fee in you Ether wallet/metamask.

Are you talking about the fees to move the coins (e.g: to an exchange)? Most tokens run on Ethereum's blockchain. To move anything in the ETH blockchain, you must pay a fee (which is given to the miners as an incentive to keep mining the blocks and keeping the network secure). The same happens with Stellar (AFAIK).

That's just how they were made.
