lower than the guy that sent like 15 btc in fees!

How about this one, with a 200 BTC fee?

I didn't want to show the BitClub transaction because that one has some controversy behind it.

thank you very much OP for this thread, i am very sorry for your lost, but i learned good things from it.

i wish you to solve your problems and return your lost money

good luck

Seems like OP resolved their problems. I made a bet on their site and their transaction fee during the return was 0.0002 BTC.

https://blockchain.info/tx/333c560e0022e8ae5b514223bcb0e3e4c2436164b5ffee8c606c6d3413dfa6a6

Likely, the issue was that since OP is using an automated system to return bets and the minimum bet size is 0.0005, they might be operating at a very negative ev, despite the house edge.

yes, we resolved problem and set max fees = 0.0002
Thanks to all!

Just use this site next time you want to know how much fees are the normal in any case of an amount that you are sending.
It is working with the live data from the current blocks after all:

why fees is very high?

Who can explane this transaction?

https://blockchain.info/tx/4731652b2c5bea022e0fbad1c56663d93d49b05fb3fcb4fc29faeb35291081a2

I use bitcoind blockchain core.

Because you put the feeestimate slider all the way to the right? The estimate fee for the next block by bitcoin core has been in the ~0.01-0.02 per kbyte area for the last few days.

fees 18$  Sad Sad
how can resolve it?

You can't. Just learn to set the estimatefee to the right range and use a failsafe to block any transactions with unusually high fees. Set -maxtxfee= in Bitcoin.conf to 0.01BTC if you want the maximum BTC paid as fee per transaction to be 0.01BTC.

Although you can ask the miner who mines your transaction to return it to you, it is a small amount and most wouldn't bother.

If set maxtxfee=0.0002
Fees will be 0.0002 and lower.. Or 0.0002 constant?
Maximum will be 0.0002BTC. I do not personally recommend setting it this low. The current average TX fees paid per transaction is about here for the smallest possible transaction size.

0.001BTC is the most conservative estimate. If you make a transaction with fees higher than that, the client will warn you. By default, it is 0.1BTC.

Pretty sure that it is the maximum amount of transaction fee. The transaction that you included in OP should be easily confirmed with a maximum tx fee of 0.0002 BTC. 0.01 BTC in fees are absolutely outrageous in my opinion.

So basically you would be getting the recommended fees up to 0.0002 BTC for each of your transactions if you set maxtxfee as 0.0002.

It's impossible. You cannot know which miners share your TX fees.

Sure its possible, the block[1] that confirmed the TX was mined by f2pool[2]. They have contact information on the homepage. It has happened in the past with unusually large fees (10s of btc or even more). Im not sure you will get a response though. The fee is reasonable if you want a quick confirmation right now.

For this? You cant, it will be confirmed in the next block.

When you click send, click the little button at the bottom near the fee estimate

It will open a new part within the same window, move the fee slider further left.

I used this setting a while back and the TX confirmed within a few hours. You should probably keep it open so you can decide for every transaction whether its important to get confirmed quickly or if you can wait a bit.
