Regulation sounds better than ban. We were soon to see the desire of governments to begin to control the cryptocurrency and the ICO, because now it reminds the Wild West. Many scammers use the excitement and popularity of cryptocurrency and create schemes of deception. Every day I see on Twitter messages "send us 0.5ETH and we'll send you 5ETH in return" and this is done on behalf of people and organizations popular in cryptocurrency world. Especially can not bypass the industry in which such a large mass of money is concentrated, naturally that they want to control and receive taxes. I hope all this will reduce fraud on the part of different people creating fake fishing sites, fake ICO and so on and the rise in prices for cryptocurrency will start to grow in connection with greater security.

[Suspicious link removed]
you can not post shady links or shortened urls here. even if you do, nobody will click them
"As you can see, this is not a war against the blockchain industry."
i disagree with this quote. at least not for Google. if you have seen this before, they had lots of ads which were mostly scams. including phishing links to fake websites for bitcoin wallets, exchanges, ... and lots of scam ICOs. if they didn't ban them i would have been surprised.
Yes, I could not place an official link. I agree with you, there were a lot of advertisements of deception and fraud in Google and early or later they had to pay attention to it. My friend lost his savings in Bitcoin because of this kind of fraud using the fake wallet you are talking about. Such cases undermine the credibility of crypto.

Once we have ICO regulation, they will revise their policy again, it's true that there are so many scam ICO now and they are not regulated and this cast a bad reputation in the cryptocurrency industry and this is one of the bad images of the cryptocurrency.

Facebook was the first to ban cryptocurrencies advertisement but then revise the statement and said that they're trying to filter the ICOs which created almost everyday to scam people and i think google also trying to revise that statement. Its funny how headlines can make such a different opinion when people don't even read the whole context of the banning reason.

The announcement of google was really to ban cryptorelated ads and ICO's. But this decision have cause a major uproar on the cryptocurrency economy and as a result the value of cryptocurrency has suffered from the red market. To combat those movement by facebook, google and twitter the Crypto holders created and organization and sued facebook, google and twitter on different countries. With these possible google in fear of such ruckus they strategize this thought of releasing opinions that they are only restricting but in fact they are banning.

Found an article in which the author explains why Google banned Bitcoin. Based on the thoughts and rationale for the Bitcoin ban, it can be assumed that in mid-2018 there will be less fraudulent schemes that were previously freely advertised in Google, ICO projects that are created by hundreds, collect money and disappear, which undermines confidence in all cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, now will be selected and certified, as a result, it could leave more room for professional and original ICO's to dominate the market for new tokens and innovations.

"As you can see, this is not a war against the blockchain industry." Cryptocurrency and trading-related ads will not be totally banned, but rather restricted. financial services will have an advantage over the scammers."

Maybe not everyone will agree with the author, but I think this is good news for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. I invite all to discuss possible prospects for Bitcoin and express your opinion based on the opinion of the author of the article:
