I`m going to confess my little secret.
If you want to earn merit, you need to dance naked under the moon in a well-crowded avenue. Then, all that you need is to create a fire-hall and to offer a sacrifice to the gods, in which you must include:
- Some mushrooms.
- An alive chicken.
- A virgin cow (it must be virgin, so be careful, some of them are used to lie).
- A sexual-active-teenager-crow (it can be changed just for an adult crow, but be sure that it has already had some sex if not, it is not going to be useful).
Once you have all the ingredients, you put the mushrooms in the fire-hall, and, while dancing naked, you need to have a profound conversation with the cow (be sure it is relevant, ok, I don`t know, something really important, like bounties). After that, all that you need to do is just to pray to the chicken and the crow and see what happens between them. If they have lovely relations, then you will earn merits. If not, maybe you need to improve your conversation with the cow.
I have become legendary by doing so.
