I think that this small issues can create problem in btc diffusion to "large scale"....
Somebody can install a greenaddress wallet, and get real problem to receive a payment... is not good (my two cents).

I have a btc wallet, multibit, after months, of different try for synchronize, only now it's working....
Ok I don't have more than a couple of peanuts... but I have see that I can't send btc to a greenaddress btc adress, example 3F7kymFKe7TxX5QrcG3BAeueEWQxkhf1JC . Multibit doesn't understand that this is a btc address (regular already on line in block chain).
What's I am wrong?!?

I just tried MultiBit Classic (0.5.18) sending a payment to a copay address (P2SH) and it worked fine.
As tryexcept suggests you could either sweep the key or go via a separate wallet if you like.

bitcoinj is fine (at least the last couple of versions), this may be an early Multibit version without p2sh support (but please ask Multibit devs for clarifications I wouldn't know for sure)

If you want to transfer everything from Multibit to GreenAddress what you could try to do instead is go to your GreenAddress wallet then receive money then click "Show Advanced Options" and then  sweep the private key(s) from Multibit, that would be the  easiest route (or maybe you can upgrade Multibit but whatever you do be careful, maybe ask Multibit support and make back ups if you haven't done so)

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
AFAIK Multibit uses BitcoinJ and BitcoinJ does not support P2SH addresses. CMIIW.

Edit: It seems like the new version supports it. I must have been talking about an older version.

It's possible that multibit doesn't support multisignature addresses that start with 3. You would have to contact their dev or support team.

Have you verified it understands *any* P2SH address? I had problems in the past with bc.info not understanding P2SH.
