Yes, Bittrex doesnt take new Customers at the moment and nobody knows when they want to reopen. They said at first at the 15th of january latest..

Go to Binance ! Binance is the best platform to trade with hundrets of different coins. And its cheap and super simple..

Much better than bittrex, bitfinex and stuff..   Wink

Miraculously my withdrawal has been re-enabled. Didn't expect this one. Thanks bittrex I guess..  Undecided

Hi all,

For the ones with blocked Bittrex accounts I hope they have unblocked them for you by now.
I hve the same problem now, and it is giving me a desperate feeling.

I would like to join bittrex slack, but these days you need to get invited!
Anyone tou can get me invited or who knows someone who can help?

I am willing to contribute some $ for that.

Is there a one account per person policy in Bittrex? My friend has an old basic account that he has been using since 2015 and has not encountered any problems with the exchange.

I also noticed the only accounts that are disabled are the new accounts. Any idea why?

Bittrex introduced last month a verification process for some accounts (due to so many accounts compromised). A newly created account has a limit of 0 BTC withdrawal per day. To increase the limit the person needs to set up 2FA. As per their TOS, Bittrex allows multi accounts at their own discretion

I think the changes were more so related to the charges against BTC-E and increasing involvement in the industry by regulators like the SEC. The former definitely involved lax enforcement of AML/KYC. So they are trying to increase their verification standards to at least show good faith to regulators.

I recently set up a new account, and I believe they are enforcing Basic verification for all new accounts now. Name, address, birth date, last 4 of SSN. If they can't be verified through public records, then they allow verification by phone.

I haven't used the account, so I haven't enabled 2FA. I have a 3BTC/day withdrawal limit without 2FA. Will it increase if I enable it?

This is common with bittrex these days. Either you went over the limit for withdrawal and got your account suspended, there is a suspicious deposit from some questionable source or there was a hacking attempt/your password was reset recently.

Bittrex's support takes a long time to respond as well now... So i can't tell you how long you're going to be waiting for. Hopefully it is not too long. These are your coins and you should be able to get them back.

Anyways, as darkstar said try to reach them on slack. They are more responsive there so it seems.

Try to send another letter to it's support team. Usually this kind of problems is guided by their support teams. And i think its not only you who is experiencing things like this.

Just wait for a reply - there is nothing else you can do. If you want to hurry things, you could try to ask for support on their Slack channel.

Yep, slack is good choice. I had frozen withdrawal. I messaged them via slack and they confirmed it quick.

Their slack channel is the best way to go when you've got any problem regarding to there site and If OP just posted his claims here I think there's nothing will be happen to his concerns. And he should submit some tickets also for supporting documents so that bittrex staff could see it properly and take some good action when they notice it.
