i had never problems like this with bitpanda....
could it be that their are problems with austrian tax ? and your national passpord ?

could be a think that they cant accept it because of that..

with way do you also use to pay out ??
 Huh Huh Huh

I live in Austria for many years now, the very same city as Bitpanda.com is located and founded.
I have an Austrian bank account, and Austrian phone number an Austrian tax number and on and on.

But I'm born in Romania, so i have a Romanian Passport.
For does who don't know, Romania is a member of the European Union since 2007.

So I made a account at Bitpanda, and reached the limit very quickly.
As is sold 10'000 Euro in coins

But they said they do not allow the verification of Romanian passports - even despite the fact
that their external partner for verification IDnow does offer exactly that!
For example for Bitcoins.de

I was thinking that perhaps this is a mistake and started to contact them via email.
As i was guessing they would be clearly interested in a new client with a large demand.

To my surprise: They were not interested at all!

First, they responded they don't accept Romanian phone numbers
(i have an Austrian phone number, i do not even own a Romanian phone number)
Then they said, they do not accept clients from Romania because of their bank accounts
(i have an Austrian bank account)

So at no point, they did even read what i have sent them.

But what made me really angry is the posting from their CEO today:

Quote:
"Romanian customers, roughly 90% of those customers wouldn't be able to buy a single € worth of coins"

It's mindblowing that a company does show that kind of disrespect, arrogance towards clients.

And for those who are curious:
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/bitcoin-rise-romania/

Of course, there is a large and growing market in Romania and they are able to buy coins.
Also, Rumania has 10'000 Millionaires

But again: Even that is beside that point as I live in Austria.

Anyway, what I try to say is:
I have never ever seen such a terrible disrespectful behavior from a company ever.

For me, Bitpanda is a no go!
