Yes, because there are some malicious imposters that copies the names of established members here and some people who receive the message are too lazy to even check who sent them the message. Surprisingly, there are still people who are scammed by these imposters that's why that warning is there. Don't worry, when you hit Jr. Member that warning would be completely removed.

Examples:

Kpmaline
Kqmaline
Kpmalline
Kpmallne
Kprnaline

The all look quite similar... so, to prevent scammers from creating accounts using names similar to highly trusted users in an effort to scam people via PM... we get this lovely warning...

I will do wonder for YOU!!!
thanks for the tip, now i know why the admin of this forum place warning like that.  That way, we are tag as a newbie and has given us time to prove ourselves that we are not only here for a short period of time.  That what we joined is a forum that is established on trust and confidence of the member.  Nice one...

there are scammers who'll change one character in an established member's username, and depending on the character it's undetectable unless you look very, very closely.

this warning was added last year i think as there were quite a few instances in coin auctions and stuff where people were being fooled in pms requesting sending addresses.
