Seriously, if TF is trying to hard to scam everyone why do partial refund?
You again? I already told you. That way he keeps his trust (partially) and he could do another scam.

Because he's busy spending that stolen 4100 coins to hire a good lawyer, in order not to be raped in jail.

I'm not rich but I'm not a thief.
I gambled before but I'm not a thief.
So I disagree u.

All ducks are birds.
All chickens are birds.
Therefore, all ducks are chickens.

Honestly, I can understand gambling small amounts. I've done it on occasion (0.01 BTC @ $10, 0.0003 @$400), but gambling that much money isn't for fun. It's a compulsive gambler's move. "If I bet a lot of money on the best odds, I won't profit as much, but there's an extremely low chance that I'll lose!" And that works, until it doesn't. Then when all the money is lost, the gambler will find a reason to put more money in. I'm rambling a bit, but trusting someone who would gamble thousands of dollars at once with thousands of BTC...  Lips sealed

Yea that seems highly irresponsible IMHO.  Sort of a slap in the face for those that lost BTC.

Wait... WAIT... this guy has been gambling AFTER the hack?!?

No. He made big bets on Just-Dice ages ago, months before the hack.

He actually was gambling after the hack:

Notice the LuckyBit bets and the dice bet.

Inputs.io has not enough revenue even to pay for the signature ads, and as a freelance programmer who even is not good at it, TradeFotress himself doesn't make a lot of BTCs.

I can't see how TF might even be able to fully refund actually ...

He can't/  I'm surprised so much people, including myself, trusted him when he didn't even give a full DOX of himself to an escrow, while holding thousands of bitcoins for other users.
I never knew he gambled, but looking at this should make him feel ashamed...

The more you play, the more you're likely to lose them all. Don't play BTC gambling games to try and make you rick or "turn 0.24 btc into 0.25 btc for a nice number, they're not worth it. Only gamble if you want to lose your coins.

Above is a post TradeFortress made one year ago, titled "Stop gambling your coins unless you're playing for entertainment!", but, did he stop gambling?

NO.

According to dooglus of Just-Dice, TradeFortress(hid: 35) is still listed on JD's biggest bets list. So did he place bets for a few hundreds of bitcoins just for entertainment?

In this reddit thread it's said TF made all time high bets on JD, is that true?

Yes, it's true.  There was talk at the time of his 561 BTC bet being a new "biggest ever BTC bet".

On 29th June, BTC was trading on Mt.Gox between $93 and $98.

Three of his bets are still listed on https://just-dice.com/biggest.txt :

(35) dooglus: am I still the biggest bet or do I need to bet more again Tongue
(1) you're still the biggest
(1) (and you need to bet again Wink )

It's hard to know how much TradeFortress lost on JD, but he did lose 100 BTC on SatoshiDice: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1492362

After the "hack", TF still gambled a lot on Luckybit using this address: http://blockchain.info/address/13VXUBDBd6Jwsz7euG59BmanHEMA5EkcA1 (proof that this address belongs to him: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1291743 )

So who's TradeFortress?

(To be continued, next I'll release some basic info of TradeFortress in Chinese perspective, though TradeFortress only moved to Australia when he was 17 in 2002, who obviously has a good understanding of Chinese, when he was interacting with his Chinese investors, he pretended to be a foreigner who doesn't know Chinese at all and used google translation to reply(https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3236239 ), which was very suspicious, I'll write more next.)
