By the way, where is Carlos Matos.I still want to see him scream Bitcoineeeeect! Grin

He's now into fasting.

I cannae believe this twitter account is his but the video is real enough - https://twitter.com/CarlosMatos80/status/971065506190057472

Must be odd being a living meme, especially one linked to something as gross as Bitconnect. I'll miss their deeply compelling music vids though.

dogs are cute.
They shutdown the whole "trading bot" fake system they had - where the user sent them BTC in exchange for BCC - but they never run away or just shutdown the website. Instead, they gave every user his "staked" BCC back (and kept the Bitcoin lol). So, technically, the user got their money back. The only issue is that the BCC coin crashed from $400 to $0.04, so everybody got bags of a worthless coin, while they kept all the BTC invested.
Holy fucking wow. Just imagine those who had been mining BCC all this while, they got some real profit there. Didn't bitconnect say something like they are gonna be gone forever, they will close their platform and whatnot? I want to know if they are still around.
There's a class action lawsuit going on about them. If any victim wants to participate, Go here: BITCONNECT CLASS ACTION.
They recently added youtube as one of the defendants. I suppose it would garner more public attention since this is youtube we're talking about. I'm kinda looking forward to what will happen next.

Actually bitconnect was a blatant scam. Imo even people who literally lacks knowledge about cryptocurrencies would have known it as long as they would act based on sensible reasons.
Interesting. Getting youtube as a defendant is no joke. Bitconnect would probably win the lawsuit, no matter how big of a scam it is. Prove me wrong please.

Biconnect and Onecoin are surely both the biggest scams in the crypto history. Don't throw your money out the window.

Sounds like OP is a fan. Why should anyone stop him doing what he wants to do?

He'd be better off donating a fraction of what he wants to throw away to everyone on this forum instead but free will should be respected at all times.

I only know a few people who invested in bitconnect (none of them invested significant amounts), and they said that the promise of gains possible with the coin was similar to gambling in a way, except it seemed less risky, which I can understand. I personally never considered it and told everyone I knew to stay away from it, but naturally not everyone will need your advice.

Didn't know that YouTube was one of the defendants in the lawsuit, thanks for the update on the case. I haven't heard about bitconnect in a while, so the case may be losing some momentum but I do hope that people at least get something back from the lawsuit. I also didn't know that Giga Watt was involved in a lawsuit as well- I thought they were legit since I took a look at them.
Expect the unexpected where somethings do happen without even seeing that those things could turn out to be a mess but when we do talk about bitconnect on the very first place even just on an average investor or person whose involve into crypto for a short time will definitely notice on what would be their kind of scheme which it isnt really sustainable for long term and now as i presumed in the past this project collapse and scam lots of investor. About on op, why would bother on their site? They had been shut down or not available anymore.

Didn't they shut down their website? Is the coin still operating? I thought Bitconnect was in the graveyard for a while now.
@cedroid09 if you're quite new, be careful with this type of business. As we say: too good to be true, it's not true. There are many scam scheme related to cryptocurrency. Save your money

1. Bitconnect is a scam.
2. Because of that, they got shutdown after receiving a few cease and desist letters.

If you ever thought about "investing" on Bitconnect, you sure need to study A LOT more before doing anything with cryptocurrencies.

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you uses bitconnect.co.
I've been trying to deposit some bitcoin but it seems the deposit service is offline.

Anybody knows why?

Thanks.
