Well it is on for me, but sites with downtime are never good for dynamic clients.

btc.sx works fine in Firefox and Chrome. It's probably just you. Also, do not take an singular claim without evidence serious at all. I've had relatively no issue with btc.sx.

LOL. Singular? Without evidence?
Check: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/lets-talk-about-btcsx-and-mtgox-524429
Check commentaries.
Check links at bottom to other bitcoin topics people are complaining too as well.
I can provide you my evidences. You want it? I've got emails, facebook messeges, they clear their facebook pretty often as well(you can check it if you want so, if you'll look at it often enough). I've got screenshots of withdrawals records in account history, screenshot of acc+wallet address on the screen, address where BTC should've arrived to. You can check that all if you wish. You just didn't visit the link i provided in this topic higher(the link I duplicated in this post), I suppose. They don't hide the fact they've took all the money. The thing - the reason they've took that money is imaginary and they've counted few account's as one and dedicated money from acc's that didn't have that imaginary reason for money to be taken to. And when it was told that it's not one person's accounts they ignored it, ignore 100+emails. They only answered to a fake facebook page, and it was like "it had already been dealt with" and didn't even react to the facts that should've been cause them to reconsider that decision, even if we count that fucking imaginary reason as an ok reason. I don't know why am I typing this all to you, you can read this at the link I provided before. That is "no evidence" you think?

Is that OK to ignore that amount of correspondence, even if they think "it's dealt with". When "dealt with" was sending 0.6btc out of 16.8 to the destination address. And when I provided them info from their own faq and the info that accounts and funds belong to different people they just ignore.
Is that OK to ignore all the users for weeks-month. It's not only my problem. Check links, facebook.
This more looks like child's behavior(with covering ears and shouting la-la-la-la, as I've already mentioned) to me.

So the thing here is not the evidence of the act of taking money. I think, even if you ask them pretty intensive about it - they can provide you info, if it's allowed to provide this kind of info. The thing is - I call this act Thievery. The reasons why are already explained in the topic, link given.

I'll check later from home, for some reason the site does appear to be down for me.
They won't get any money from me, but I'm curious to look at the exchange.

The domain "btc.sx" is down now.

Has the site been down for days or just a little while?
They are "gone for now", maybe forever?
No, it works fine and so do withdrawals.

Firefox can't find the server at www.btc.sx.

IE = This program cannot display the webpage

It's online. But they act fraudlent, take users money for some fantastic imaginary reasons and ignore emails all the way from all the users. Think twice before deposit into btc.sx. Maybe you won't be able to withdraw money as well. And with their new "stop loss" system it's unable to trade superprofitable like before. 20$ min stop loss - wrong direction, all your deposit gone. 200$ stop loss - deposit x10.

One thing is awfully strange: they claim to use Bitstamp but whenever I place an order, I never see it on Bitstamp.

One time I placed a long order that borrowed a total of around 0.5 BTC. There was a sell order at price x for 10 BTC. I placed the order, and it filled for about x+10 USD.  Huh And I saw no trades on Bitstamp during the time my order was pending.

Just a little strange is all.

They don't put orders out to market. It's smth like Forex, all inside the system. That's why I don't understand them blaming people for "big stop loss", when they shouldnt care of it, they've got deposit and daily funding.

Still, no answers. Only ignore. Btc.sx - 5 year old thieves, covering their ears with hands and shouting la-la-la-la

What is the plan for btc.sx now? Huh
Will they switch exchanges?

OH, I'll tell ya the PLAN! Then plan is to steal users money(all the money, even tho FAQ claims "losses will never exceed deposit), after that claim they made "exposures" at placing stop losses(when they didn't even have one in December), deactivating accounts and ignoring emails, facebook, etc.

GREAT PLAN?!

I've now received complete payment from btc.sx. (others are reporting the same)
They might just be manually processing them.

Well, they are. But since they promise max 24 hours withdrawal delays and do not tell people whats going on when they're running late, some people do get understandably anxious.

I would definitely be anxious, too, considering the whole Gox situation.

Ok, so I had two withdraws pending. I've now received one of them (the smaller, and newer, one), but am still missing 8 BTC for 48+ hours by now. Will update once I hear back from them. Delays are one thing, selective payouts something entirely else.

Maybe they got hacked and lost a lot of coins making them now insolvent and thus unable to pay out?
Other possibility is of course that they ran away with all the coins.
I doubt that this is the case.  They sent out an email a few days ago:
---
Hello All:

BTC.sx has suspended trading to facilitate some required technical changes. We can assure all our customers that their deposits are safe, and that we will resume trading as soon as possible.
We should emphasise that our maintenance is not linked with ongoing changes at MtGox, and we hope that they resolve their own issues in a timely manner for the good of the bitcoin community.

Any questions or issues please email us.

"Buy limit reached.  Check back soon."
"Sell limit reached. Check back soon."
It has been like this for a few days.  Huh
btc.sx

EDIT: this issue is long gone  Cheesy They had to stop for a few weeks because Mt. Gox closed, but now they are running again.
