Blockchain technology is a system of creating an immutable, secure, distributed database of transactions. Blockchains were initially created to provide a distributed ledger of financial transactions that did not rely upon a central bank, credit company, or other financial institution. The technological breakthrough, however, has been extended to transactions involving legal matters, medical records, insurance billing, and smart contracts. One primary way that blockchain technology is important to healthcare professionals is that it can revolutionize medical database interoperability. This greater interoperability can help improve access to medical records, imaging archives, prescription databases. Given that a patient’s medical history is a primary cornerstone of good medicine, blockchain technology has the potential to dramatically improve medical care.

🔅No one would be surprised about the fact of implementation #blockchain #technology into finance services, payments, #insurance, real estate, however the above list is by far not complete. The World is moving on, people more frequently don’t stay at home, even in the country, thereby the #Health-care system desperately in need of updating and reorganization.

🔅How often did you see someone got sick for example in a plain? The scared stewardesses are trying to figure out what has happened, and how could they help the passenger, but he can’t tell them that he is an allergic or has a glucose intolerance? And now imagine that any second in a case of giving the passenger’s access to his #medical #database, every doctor can start treating immediately. There won’t be any chance of hurting the passenger because of not knowing the facts concerning his state of health. Moreover it would be possible not only in your district clinic, but even in Bali or in Egypt.

🔅Likewise, we are facing the substandard services of an #insurance officers sometimes. Using #blockchain we can avoid problems with a «human factor» or an insurers greed. Since  a certain condition, which have been written into a #smartcontract, was met (whether a broken bone or a trivial cold - every condition is discussed before putting in a blockchain) then the consequences can not be avoided.

🔅To draw the conclusion, one can say that the blockchain technology is necessary in establishing the medicine into a quality, reliable and accessible service for everyone.
