It's just because it was listed yesterday so you see like a huge spike, but it's not "real" interest

There is theory that the guys who run novacoin, premined a lot of coin before release and with those coin buy/sell nvc's in market's to make a fake inflation for novacoin and increase it's value falsely.
There is a theory i read in some other threads, I dont know exactly , but it seems reasonable enough to me. (This is a trick from stock companies that used to buy/sell/trade their shares in stock markets to increase it's value)

NVC shot up from $1 to $5 in a day?!
edit: I could have swore BTC-E had a chart of NVC/USD going from around $1 to $5 yesterday.
