Well they invest in shitcoins cause they want to pump it up and attract more people to invest in it. Once the price reaches a nice high, they just dump all their coins, earning a nice profit. Also, some people just unknowingly invest in shitcoins without doing research so yeah.
Look at this coins charts. All of them pumps sometimes. Know a lot of people who bought a lot of coins put sell order x2-10 and forgot about depo)

Because people are pumping them, as it is easy, and then make a x5 or x10 or even more. It‘s like a ponzi, the last ones will be the ones who lose
The thing with shitcoins is that people don't invest in them, they just gamble. It doens't matter if the coin is dead, people will still buy it and hope to sell it at a higher price.

Every ICO project has been created for the different usages in the crypto currency platform but most of the project does not grows as they expected bro. That is reason we found the n number of altcoins in the market place. Once no one shared the source coding for the crypto currency at all but recent days with the help of ethereum based smart contracts everyone creating their own altcoins. ERC20 tokens comes everyday and as growth wise it is obviously good for crypto platform.
Just read the name. Then read it again. If that hasn't convinced you to invest in it, read it again.

Easy to speculate. And some people who just meet with cryptocurrencies are in rush to invest their money without any knowledge.
