You can miss out on activity periods if you don't post in one or more 2-week activity periods, right?  If that's the case, then we're definitely on the same page, and I still think OP will figure this out once he gets past the 28 activity phase.  After that, things should start becoming routine as long as he keeps posting routinely.
Sure.

Let's consider 2 consecutive windows, 28 days in total.

If member A post one in the first window, on any day from day #1 to #14, then make 27 posts in the second window, from day #15 to #28, that one will get a max activity point at 28.

If member B does not post any post in the first window, then make 28 posts in the second windows, that one will get only 14 activity point.

I understood none of what you said but all of what you meant, if you can believe that.  Maybe I have a hard time with reading comprehension--I don't know--but my experience with the activity system tells me what you said is correct (I think).

if you made 14 post for 2 weeks be sure that you will be on active status on 14th or 15th day starting from the  day you're registered and  the posts will be added to your Activity number. I'm just stupid  Grin Grin Grin don't mind this reply.
If you post once in each 14-day period, you will mark that period of activity with that single post and have a potential 14 activity points. You will only get that 14 activity points whenever you make enough 14 posts.

Why do I say it is potential point? You can make 13 other posts one month, two month later in order to fill that lack of 13 posts for 13 potential activity point in that 14 days.

If you notice, for users who currently have total posts exceed total activity points, after the activity recount of the forum, if they make only one post (to mark a new 14-day period), their activity will be updated with 14 more points (usually 1 hour after the post publishing time). Because their abundant posts in the past will be counted for the new 14-day period as well.

It's a bit confusing to newcomers, I get it.  I don't know if I can explain it any simpler than anyone else here has, but it'll make more sense as time goes on and you keep posting.

Basically as I understand it, when you first register you get 1 activity point for every day that you post up until an activity of 14.  After that, if you post at least once in every 2-week period, you'll get 14 activity points.  So if, at a minimum, you post once every two weeks from here on out, you'll increase your activity by 14 points--no more, no less--every two weeks when the activity period changes, usually on Tues-Wed, depending on your time zone.

Hope that was helpful and not more confusing.  I'd read the activity description when I was new, but it took more than a day for me to really understand how it works.  Then once I understood, it was simple.

Thank you very much for your reminder, I will read the rules carefully. You explained it very clearly, I understand now. Grin

Thank you for your answers, let me understand the key to the problem---It is based on the first post, not the registration time.

The best is that you would be reading the Thread that hilariousandco has posted .
There you will be find all you need to know how it works with all the counting.

All your posts are from the 15/07/2021 onwards.

According to the Activity calendar, last calculus was performed on the 14/07/2021, and the next will be on the 28/07/2021, so all your posts counts towards the current Activity window, and it is maxed at 14 Activity points per window, regardless of the number of posts you make above that mark within the current Activity window.
I’m not 100% positive, but I believe you may not see an activity increase on the 28th, but rather have to wait for the following Activity cycle.

Since the day you registered, you have not posted anything until a few days ago. Why?

You can get a maximum of 14 activity over a two-week period. It has nothing to do with the date of your registration.
You will receive the next batch of activity points in approximately two weeks (if you are active on the forum during that period).

EDIT:
The explanation by DdmrDdmr was very good as well.

I briefly read this post before, and it describes the various rules of the forum.
It mentioned that you can get up to 14 activities in two weeks

Activity is increased by posting and is updated every hour; however, the updated number of activity points will be reflected at your profile at the end of the current activity period. As a note, in case you have latent activity points from earlier periods (meaning activity periods where you didn't post daily: in this case, the days when you did not post become latent activity points), these ones will be updated on your profile after 1 hour. You can gain a maximum of 14 activity points every 2 weeks.

Maybe it's because you haven't responded to the post for a long time after registering?

I guess it may have something to do with the time of your first post

Farewell, Leo
The fact that you're registered in 2020, doesn't mean that you'll increase your activity. In order to do that you'll have to frequently post; that's the purpose of the activity. You may made an account back in December 2020, but your first post was in 15th of July 2021.

Essentially, you can get these 14 activity points if you make on average one post everyday.

My registration time has been half a year and I posted 26 posts.

Code:
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

According to this rule, my activity should be more than 14.

Can anyone tell me if it is because of my network or because of a bug in the forum?Thank you.
