Nuclear weapons possession is extremely destabilizing owing to the uncontrollable nature of their effects. There is no way for a nation to isolate weapons’ effects to military targets. The fear the US has (and not just the US) is that a rogue political entity takes control of a country with nuclear weapons and decides it has nothing to lose by firing weapons off against an enemy.

In the United States, public opinion is important. There is a developed civil society. Loss of reputation can lead to loss of power. The authorities have to respect public opinion. Therefore, the authorities are afraid of even a single nuclear strike.

America wants to remain the world power, that is d main reason.
Very precisely, no matter what the reason they want to give, then that's what they want, so that all other countries are put under pressure.

Why does America strongly forbid other countries to have Nuclear, whereas the country itself is the largest nuclear production site, anyone know?

That is a no brainer really. The US has based his stance in the world in having a huge military and the economy to support it. You can´t bully countries who have nukes.

best reply ever - the US are bullies.

They are mostly afraid of the people using it against them, I am sure that Iran which hates Israel and the USA will be willing to give Nuclear weapons to the like of Hezbolla and other terrorist groups just to see Israel and the USA nuked. Unstable countries don't get to have Nuclear weapons.

Any country are afraid of nuclear weapons, because of the destruction of nuclear weapons is very large, poor countries for their poverty is not afraid to the reconstruction, and the developed countries if a nuclear-armed reconstruction of the amount of funds is relatively large, so any developed countries are afraid of nuclear weapons, while poor countries (north Korea) is don't care!

Its not America telling other nations, its a union of nations enforcing these sanctions

Underdeveloped countries also have a huge security risk involved having potentially harmful weapon program near potential "unhinged" people
Not America? It's better if you say it's not America, but look at who's always unsafe to sit when other countries want to get up, is not America?

exactly - why aren't they giving up nuclear weapons instead of asking others to do the same?
I am sure, because they fear that other countries will be able to defeat them especially in weaponry, so that they will be feared by the shadows.

There is no mistake to strengthen the economy and the military, but why be afraid when other countries want to have great power?
