How do you term a signature campaign being good? is it because they pay in Bitcoins or ETH direct ? There are a lot of signature campaign in the bounty section that if you do proper checks, you can land yourself in one that will pay you in tokens which can later turn into an altcoins that will be better than those paying in Bitcoins or ETH.

Sorry for the question, but what if however those altcoins turn out to be completely useless? Will that mean you just wasted your efforts or do they usually always start with a price point?

It's your risk when you joined an altcoins campaign/bounty. We never know is the project or ICO will success or not, if it success you will get the altcoins in the end of the ICO and you can exchange it into ETH/BTC on exchanges but if the ICO failed, all your efforts is become useless and wasted.

about the altcoin, i assume this coins have/had their own signature campaign, most coins that have/had their signature campaign here in the forum runs an ICO so basically most of the time the coin/token will definitely have a value once it reached an exchange

If in my opinion, a good Signature Campaign is a Signature Campaign that pays people with Bitcoin directly and receives many members. If a Signature Campaign is only open for a few people, I do not think the Signature Campaign is bad and hard to try. There is also a signature campaign that pays people token tokens. I really hate tokens because I do not know if tokens are valuable or not. And again, we have to wait for a long time to exchange the token. But now the Bitcoin fee is so large that people turn to Ethereum for payment methods. It does not matter and it could be an opportunity for us to invest into Ethereum.

Dump it!!!
As far as I know we have plenty of signature campaigns on the forum only difference between today's sigs is they are being cost effective with their marketing which is understandle as bitcoin rates are high and could be costly for any project, which is why most of them are now paying in tokens from their projects.

There are a lot of Signature campaigns that are running in Altcoins section even every day some new come there. BUt yes, Signature campaigns which pay in BTC is quite less now a days, I think the reason behind that BTC price surge and ICO banning in USA. BTC has soared a lot in last few days and today it has even touched $20k mark. So in that scenario, ICO companies need nearly 2.5x budget to run a signature campaign.

For I am not an expert or have manage a signature campaign before but I observe about how the very high bitcoin price affect the number of it in the forum. And to be honest I think this holiday more company’s are busy on other auditing stuff that is really given of the end of each year.

I didn't noticed lack of good campaigns. But number of open campaigns are small. It's because that number of forum users growing very fast - it means much more campaign applicants. Now managers of many campaigns are quit strict and they accept these who have very good quality of posts. Also, when there are so many campaign applicants, you have to be really fast when trying to enroll into campaign before it becomes full.
But nowadays trend that mostly campaigns paying in their tokens and can be found in Bounties board. For companies which start their ICO, it's much cheaper to pay in their tokens, instead of BTC. Especially, if we look at Bitcoin price and how it's rising Smiley

There's more than enough campaigns available. Just read this thread and you'll see that every responder has a different signature, meaning that most of us don't notice this lack of good campaigns that you're talking about. I also find it strange that a new poster like you is already complaining about something like that. Have you come here to learn about cryptocurrencies or post with a signature? If it's the latter, do us all a favor and disappear.

I have looked through the bitcoin talk signature campaign mega-thread here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/overview-of-bitcointalk-signature-ad-campaigns-last-update-01-jan-23-615953

And there seems to be a massive lack of campaigns here. As for the campaigns which are available, I am seeing dozens of people offering to join and then no reply from the campaign managers. Can anyone shed some light about what is going on?
Its not actually lacking but i would rather treat it as a sufficient thing if you do try to look at on the CFNP campaigns then i would say it would be just fine and sufficient and i dont really see the need to have even more campaigns. Those list are just for BTC campaigns how much more if you do see campaigns on signature on bounties then for sure it would flooded up. Its not lacking its just theres no company or project do decide to launch their own signature.

Why do you think that there is lack of good campaigns ? There are many campaigns running but most of them are full for the new participants.
There are a lot of users in search of new campaigns, and mostly the spots gets filled in a day, recent example : InsurePal campaign.
Many campaigns offer nice payouts, even when the bitcoin price is increasing rapidly.

Those campaigns are already full at the moment, they usually declare in OP or in the post tile, but people don't pay attention to it and just continue to spam the thread and post their applications.

Maybe because they are too busy for Christmas season? LOL. I think because a lot if spammers are all around here in forum, maybe those who wanted to have campaigned also want to have good advertisement so I think signature campaign are lessen because of spammers, I think bounty campaign now are the best to apply or Social media campaigns.

There are few reason why it looks like this. There isn't lack of signature campaign, the campaign manager's are too stick on rules and they're working to reduce spam. This is good for bitcointalk forum.Past days you could join on any signature campaign now you won't be accepted on any signature campaign with shit post.

Also signature campaign is very costly. Not all the project can afford over $50k on signature campaign every month. Also big investor or players is not very active on bitcointalk. so in my point of view spending that much on signature campaign is not profitable marketing. I observed this things since I've managed or managing signature campaign recent days.

Have you seen the bitcoin price lately? No one wants to pay out BTC right now with the price going parabolic. The exception seems to be ChipMixer, whose operations and profits are denominated in BTC, so I guess they can afford to continue their impressive marketing push. There's one open slot at the moment, but dozens of people have already applied.

If Bitcoin crashes and stabilizes at a lower level, I imagine the campaigns will pick up again. Might be better to hunt some altcoin bounties if you have the patience to wade through all the crap in that forum.

I think there is already good number of campaigns running if you don't have a spot maybe your post quality need to be improved because now a days the campaign managers looking for the good quality posters.I hope you will get a spot soon, good luck for you!

Everything they apply has different standards. Sometimes when we think that we have a good standard when it is not enough, so realize it all has its own rules. Sometimes we are selfish enough to say that we are the best when it is not right. There are several. Component assessment and some are implementing a high quality system. We can not protest because here we are an object that is used as one aspect of product promotion that they have.

I don’t agree with that. There isn’t a massive lack. If fact, there isn’t a lack at all. In my opinion there are too many if we count the alt section, which is the biggest source of spam on this forum.

People don’t receive reply from the managers those because they are not accepted. One typical mistake I see is people posting on the thread without having read the rules from the first page. In my one, one of the rules on the first page states:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/777coin-signature-campaign-member-hero-accepted-1545750

“Rounds are running from Tuesday-Monday, payments are going to be made in the next 24 hours after a round has ended.
New enrollments are only going to be made into the next upcoming round, and are announced right with the payments.”

I see people every week applying for the campaign and a couple of days after (before the round has ended) posting again to complain because they haven’t received any reply. Therefore, they don’t receive any reply, which means they aren’t accepted.

Campaign managers wait for sometime to accept participants because they want the one who participate in their campaign to have a quality post. You are bringing the name of the ICO or whatever project you are advertising every time you post so they need some time to determine who are the participants that are deserving to be part of the campaign. Managers would not want to accept those who are just spamming the forum to increase post count.

If you cannot find a signature campaign paying bitcoin then you can try the altcoin section. There are so many signature campaigns available there but many of them pay you after their ICO which may take months but others pay weekly though.

You can find it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

There are more than enough spammers in this forum. We don't need more poorly managed campaigns for all the new spammers that are being born every day. Only a few deserve to be part of a signature campaign. And if that's all you care about, you shouldn't be posting here anyway.

About the huge amount of people applying for the campaigns and no answer by the manager: 90% of the users applying for those campaigns are spammers. They create an account, rank them up by spamming shit and if they don't get banned, they apply for a campaign so they can get paid to spam shit. Of course those kind of users won't get accepted in the campaign if the manager knows how to do his work. That's why there are that many applications and just a few selected ones.
