Poker requires skill, concentration, and luck. These are all integral parts of the game. For this reason, online poker is not the most popular game. Crypto casinos don't have enough players

Basically, that's the reason why it's hard to gain poker players in a crypto casino.
Unless, the casino has long been operating and they already gained patrons for this game.
And they just come and go. But for a new crypto gambling site with poker on their list, hard to attract players.
It will take time to gain good number of regular poker players.
And the problem is, a lot of them are tired of waiting fellow poker players on the table so they just move on.

I don't know from what you've done such conclusions, but for example, i see that even in SwCpoker there more and more people. And yeah, this is obvious that pokerstars.net for example have much more larger audience than any poker site, so growth number of players will be more noticeable there.
He sees from all aspect of all casinos who have a poker table not only from "SwCPoker Tournament".

As you can see most of the poker will not really have a full room, people could be tired waiting for someone to join the table. That's why everyone really suitable with a single-player game like DICE, ROULETTE, CRASH, or other game. Even if they want to play with someone, probably they will choose "BlackJack Live". Because no matter have a player or not they will not really getting effected on the game.
One of the factors that i also see on why it didnt really get that attraction much which people arent really that patient on waiting up for other players to sit in.Yes, there are poker sites that do exist but if we do compare it up into the number of online casinos that do give out other games like dice and slots then the number or gap is really far off which we can really say that there is indeed a difference when it comes to demand and interest.
Also, when it comes to game mechanics then its no question that people do easily able to play dice and slots which isnt possible with poker.

From my side, I like to play online dice or this type of game. because it is easy to play. if my luck is good then i will win. on the other hand, when i go to casino or meet with my friends, then I play poker with them. we chat and play poker. it is more enjoyable then any kind of game. another reason is if you want to need the poker game you must need skill and attention. I can't concentrate when playing poker on online, so it makes mistake and lose. dice are easier than poker. and it does not need any kind of skill.

2. In crypto casinos dice games took all the golory. I don't know why. Sometimes it's hard for me to understand why this game is such a hit.
You already mentioned it in your first answer dice is still popular because it's similar to a few popular games then you got a low house edge at the same time it can be very fast paced if the site allows to attain those speeds. Customization could be another reason, there's a few dice bot (optional) that allows us to enhance our experience which you can't do on other games since the payouts are fixed to the outcomes.

1. It is not. If you look at casino statistics it's far below games like dice and blackjack. And let's not forget the king of all fiat casinos - slots.
The reason for it is poker is the game that requires the most skill out of all casino games. It's not as relaxing as other games where you just wager some money and watch it roll.

Dice is fast game and easy to play which is why its one of the most played game in crypto that almost all casino has it.
Poker isn't as popular for online since you'd like wanna see the faces when they raise and call. Poker also is a game where you can lose all your coins if pretend to raise like you have good cards.  Having a limit would be good at least unlike Texas.

I have this silly theory that card games are obsolete in the modern era. In the past, people play cards when they socialize (as a group activity). Nowadays, they (especially youngsters) play PUBG, Mobile Legends, and other mobile multiplayer games.
One other thing that might cause many people to become less interested in poker is that they prefer game that rely on luck like dice, slot, sport, and many other. I am one of the players who rely on luck and I find it difficult to develop my skill in gambling. Slot, dice, sport are some of the games I like so far, although I have often been beaten on many occasion. But very happy.

Not only crypto Poker sites, but also other fiat ones. And when you have a place, where everything is perfect, you won't leave that easily. Since there are no limitations like in bookmakers, you are also not urged to look for other possibilities.
Yeap,,,its the exact thing which actually works behind leading poker platforms popularity. Its not like that poker platform users are only love to play on their favorite site but also crypto traders have their personal choice about trading exchanges. Even its same for forex broker, wallet, mixer etc. Most crypto traders have multiple exchange accounts but usually they love to trade on a specific one.

Nowdays new poker platforms are launching with the feature of crypto payment and old platforms are also following the same way which is a good sign that they are taking crypto users as potential customers.

In general Poker has been on the decline since years imo, with some spike again during this pandemic, because people spent/spend more time at home and were bored Smiley
Not a bad option to spend free time. Covid19 have already decreased sports betting platforms monthly ROI but bring a good wave of traffic to casino and poker platforms.

This one is a valid point in my opinion too. I have played online poker at different times but never been an active player but during this pandemic, I have played the most.
The reason of not so many players are at poker is it needs you to have knowledge on poker games while with other casino, I have seen people don't understand even the odd/chance but keep rolling.

1. Is online poker (in fiat casinos) one of the most popular games?
There could be a bias while answering this question.
Just like me, I could say yes. It is more popular to me.
And as I see how many players are in the room waiting for their turn, then it is really popular.

2. Why isn't poker particularly popular when it comes to crypto casinos?
It's way different playing physical poker.
You always have a hint looking at players giving you ideas to how you could win by reading their eyes.
While in crypto poker, that won't happen.

1. Is online poker (in fiat casinos) one of the most popular games?
2. Why isn't poker particularly popular when it comes to crypto casinos?
Probably here are the factors that might the reasons of your questions.

1) During pandemic that everyone should stay at home due to self-quarantine, there's no other based on skills games because all betting activity was postponed at that time, probably gamblers don't want on based on luck like dice, roulette, crash and etc. in short, fighting on house edge most likely the chances of winning is very slim. As we know that you have real opponent in poker online game upon sitting the table. Unless if the gambling casino cheated their user by using bot.

2) My assumption is not all players have the same time in each session upon sitting on the table. But believed me, the tournament on gambling on gambling board is very active and I have doubt that people keep playing poker games.

Haven't tried playing online in fiat casinos. Used to play in fiat casinos but only in physical casinos, not online. In those limited fiat casinos that I've been to, poker is not even the main thing. Gamblers are normally crowding around baccarat and roulette tables. I know there are a lot of patrons in poker houses though.

This is just my observation: strategic games are not that popular in crypto casinos. We normally hear of dice, crash game, slots, lottery, etc as the top crypto games.

The problem with Poker is: You always need a big pool of players to make it attractive for other players to join your site. If there are only few players and it takes ages for tables to fill up, this turns nearly all people off.
True, and it is applicable not only with poker but also multiplayer games.
New casinos will find it difficult to attract existing players simply because, well, it's the same (poker) game!

Usually dice, crash and similar games are popular in crypto world because from the begining thede games where main priority of every crypto casino and people tend to love them.
Sportsbooks are the thing that we massively see lately in crypto casinos and demand on it grows. However, blackjack and poker aren't that popular but there are crypto casinos that offer live blackjack tables where you deposit via btc and play with it, idk how huge demand is on live blackjack, roulette and baccarat from these casinos but seems people play it via crypto. It will be great to see poker game from crypto websites but the problem is to attract playerd and create stable demand, e.g. loyal customers. It's hard to do that when there are opponents like pokerstars and so on but I guess that's pretty much possible to make crypto casinos popular place for poker players and cooperation with partypoker may help casinos to achieve succesd in this direction.

1. Is online poker (in fiat casinos) one of the most popular games?
In this case if you are familiar with the term poker online, you definitely know the game of poker when you place fiat or crypto bets.
In this understanding people prefer to use fiat money than crypto, the reason; simple, most poker gambling games are often called "check" here can be interpreted if you want to continue the game with fiat money without changing the bet value, whereas with crypto at any time the value of the bet can change.
Or you can raise, in this method you can use the call or fold option, if you are hesitant to win, for this reason poker gambling addicts are more interested by many people.

2. Why isn't poker particularly popular when it comes to crypto casinos?
Not really...! there are also many online poker games that use crypto in interest by many people.
It is called "Object" because the nature of this poker bet can change its value or better known as Blind Value.

I've had a conversation with friends a few days ago, and it was about online poker. The thing is, it seems that in online gambling in general poker is very popular and currently on the rise. For example, here's an article claiming that online poker is currently at its ATH. Hm, at the same time there are articles like this one claiming that it's in decline.
Skimmed thru the articles and here are the highlights for me:
1st article - Online Poker on the rise in Pennsylvania and New Jersey because of the pandemic.
2nd article - Online poker declined but still popular mainly because of regulation issues (it seems NJ and Pennsylvania are the only two states with favorable terms for online poker).

In that case, I have two questions.
1. Is online poker (in fiat casinos) one of the most popular games?
2. Why isn't poker particularly popular when it comes to crypto casinos?
It would be nice to know if these online poker casinos in the articles also offer cryptocurrencies. I think we'll have a better comparison if we have those data.

If we take NJ and Pennsylvania for example, I don't think players would actually care if it's fiat or it's crypto, they will still play online poker as long as they are allowed to do so.

The problem with Poker is: You always need a big pool of players to make it attractive for other players to join your site. If there are only few players and it takes ages for tables to fill up, this turns nearly all people off. You can bet at a bookmaker, where you are the only customer, you can play at an (online) casino, where you are the only player - you are not dependant how many other players there are to make it more fun.

In Poker you have this big powerhouse called PokerStars, where you find more or less perfect conditions for everything you need and want when playing Poker. All kind of tournaments, cash games, sit'n go's for every size of bankrolls and never short of players - 24 hours for 7 days a week. All other sites don't have this and are struggling in this department. Not only crypto Poker sites, but also other fiat ones. And when you have a place, where everything is perfect, you won't leave that easily. Since there are no limitations like in bookmakers, you are also not urged to look for other possibilities.

In general Poker has been on the decline since years imo, with some spike again during this pandemic, because people spent/spend more time at home and were bored Smiley
