I thought that post was removed or deleted by moderators, but I wasn't sure why that post was still accessible.
This is how the ignored boards are meant, even the ignore users too, you might not see them when browsing on recent posts or list of boards but you can still access them using a direct link to the thread or user profile.

You usually see this if the post which got merit is in a place you don't have access to, like Staff Forum or Trashcan. I see your post is not deleted though.

The problem has been resolved, but I will keep this post open so that interested people can continue their discussions.

If your case has been resolved, then I don't see any reason why you need to keep the thread unlocked, unless you need further explanation or a reply from a few members who might not be patient enough to read through the first two lines and might just repeat what has been said, or better yet, give suggestions based on what they think is the fault.

To me, the best thing to do is to lock the thread if you are truly satisfied with the answer you got.

I just clicked on your merit history now, and I can't fine any off-limit or deleted post-merit. If you are seeing that from your end, it's possible that you have ignored that topic and not the moderator ignoring them.

Sometime we can mistakenly click on ignore user without realising it, or you might have tried to create an ignore board and you included the topic you receive your merit from. Those are just the possible explanations I can think of.

You are right. I put that specific board in my ignore list recently, perhaps by mistake. I thought that post was removed or deleted by moderators, but I wasn't sure why that post was still accessible. Thanks for pointing out the real reasons, and it's silly that sometimes we fail to notice small changes and get confused about what just happens.

I think you are mistaken this for something else. I have just gone through your recent merit history and I saw nothing like deleted post there.

I took this screenshot from my recent merit list. I was merited in this topic: Scammers are getting innovative. But when i checked in my recent merit history it shows (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored). The topic is still there so it is not deleted. It's not off-limits as well. The only option remains is Ignored. So ignored by who? Moderators?

I am sorry if this topic has been posted before to the forum.
