For me, it doesn't matter in which platform, I think most of the airdrops are useless. In my opinion, it is better to improve your knowledge about crypto and trading, instead of trying to find a promising airdrop.
ETH is the most popular platform than waves, NEM, neo and other platforms as well. It's the most dominant platform right now due to its smart contracts and it may be experiencing a congestion today but its developer is doing something to solve these type of problem and he's proposing sharding.

When a new coin comes to the market it got so many responses. I think people are investing on this as they found this easy to buy and operate. Moreover the price is also low so people are showing interest on this. Also this is getting more popular day by day.
