Due to work load and small tensions, usually middle-aged and older people stop enjoying their life happily so that's why no surprises.

I think that older people are too tired and don't want surprises. They want just to have a rest because they have been working the whole life.

The older we get the less things suprise us.

Maybe one day we are thinking 'ohh.. I saw so much and this is not interesting, not so beautiful as thing that I've seen before'
It's our experience
It's good when in such situation old people try to find other sources of emotion... But what if they don't try?? What if they don't even understand that they should try???  What then?? Do they just lose the interest to life and that's all?
