at past, I was addicting to play games too. But it happened until my console broke and get more busy to my school/campus activity. So there is no way again to play games, and my laptop is not gaming laptop (it design for office need). more no ways to start playing game anymore...
maybe, if you still have good game console, you can give it to your younger family member. And raise you busy level in work world.

multiplayer is game that can made addict, because , every time need change strategy, opponent, challenge, always new in multiplayer game , not make easy bore
probably because when you play with someone/ versus someone you have much more fun and funny moments than playing alone, i also like multiplayer games more
Game designers and producers develop special engagement mechanics for each game. For the dev companies, it is profitable that you play much. As simple as that.
multiplayer play a very fun and addictive for me, because of the character of each game and play situations are always different, opposed the presence of different yan at any time create a sense of fun and we will always look for ways to beat opponents and tentuya every opponent has the character and ability to play different 
You must try another hobbies, so you can forget it.

multiplayer game made our addict because on multiplayer especially onlin emutiplayer game, its not same character,, enemy or opponent will change .

Yeah because your not playing alone and you can compete with other people. It's more special wje your playing with your friends.
Its addicting because the you need to keep adapt and evolve the way you play so each time you play you challenge yourself to becom better, way to stop it? just throw away your cpu and shut down your wifi, that will do the trick

Remove your highlight coz my eyes hurts with that color. Multiplayer games are better than playing single or playing bot. But it depends on game you are going to play. Me, i've been played some single player games but never got bored. Multiplayer games are better coz you wont get bored coz you have to communicate or interact on your co player. Some games are develop with multiplayer base games.
