Exactly, you got the right point. Actually most of bounty managers too lazy and even they are not counting post. They just need bump the thread so that more participants will join and more investors will check the thread. I think team also don't agree to collect bounty report by Google form because of keep bumping the thread. However, few managers still collect report by Google form to keep thread spam free.
@OP you should know that bounty report could be submitted again even your post has been deleted. I don't think you need to create thread for this simple matter, over all you are not doing something great.
